In recent rank battle, our team have 5 rental ships but 0 in opponent team. Of course, I realize that I will lose before the game start, they simply don't know the capability of these ships and just a noob.

WOWS should remove the rental ships or at least balance the number of rental ships on both side.

Well, if the issue is about "rentals", then the simplest solution is for ranked not to be at T10. I would argue that owning a T10 isn't proof you are a good player having since the questionable competency of said tier ship players in co-op.

In rentals, WG is trying to populate ranked with easy picking seals for clubbing allowing everyone a chance to try a more competitive mode. Otherwise how can you feed a broken star economy for the more experience players in higher ranks.

To be honest, considering that there are still a lot of poor T10 players, in actual T10’s, I’m not sure that the rental ships make a huge difference.

Yes, those in rental ships do not have experience in those specific ships (which could be solved by allowing them to practice in co-op, or the training room), but if you play well in a T8 BB, chances are you will be fine in a T10 rental BB. It’s not like someone with a few hundred battles buying a T8 premium.

As I said, there’s still a lot of players out there with earned T10s who are not good at ranked, though players in rental ships may still have a slight disadvantage in skill with specific ship.

Biggest issue I have is that DDs cannot equip camo, which is very important for a DD.

On the MM issue, there’s never been any surprise that MM cannot match teams well. Being able to gauge skill is very difficult. But being able to match specific ship types is easy. This says that WG has not even bothered to match rental ships, which may mean they think there is no difference in skill.

At the end of the day, if you find yourself on a team full of rental ships, or noobs, or both, all you can do is use your superior skills to come out on top and save your star, and hope for a better team next time.

Wait... we live in a meta where noobs in BBs and CVs can rack up large amounts of Xp without really contributing to victory...

I got nothing.

I have personally learned a lot by playing in the T6 ranked sprints as a newer player, so I think giving players the ability to try ranked is a good thing. We should also note that T10 ships have much higher upkeep costs, so if they can't do well, the service cost is gonna be heavy. You won't get far by from trying to fail your way up with a rental.
