Just got the Kremlin, do you any tips for this Soviet T10 beast?

Hello guys!, i just the Kremlin after pulling off an all night grind in the Sovetsky Soyuz. So fair i played six games in it and won only 2. While my dmg is consistent, i still keep getting rekt at critical moments. Do you Kremlin owners have tips for this ship?

So far from playing the RU BB's, i noticed that map and situational awareness is pretty important, even more so than other BB's. Is there anything else i need to master?

so except for no.3 all the others are just general tips for BBs no?:Smile_sceptic:

Yeah, kinda learnt that the hard way, the worst part is that i should have remembered this bit since i played through the Vladivostok when i got it from the containers and then the Soyuz, *sighs* the price of being an average player XD

Absolutely, seeing Yamato shells bounce off is satisfying, and i hold my dcp's anyway.

Well, tbh so, the carriers seem to stay away from me for the most part, so we'll have too see.

Well that is true, but i'm looking for any advice and help that i can get. Do you any tips friend?

My first impression is that it is a tank ship.
I got ~4 million potential damage in the last Ranked Battle. 

Kremlin is capable to be much tanky than its German rival, X Grosser Kurfurst.
It has more HP, more AA, more torpedo protection, more armour at the front, deck, and even at its broadside.
The rudder shift time and acceleration (I recommend acceleration upgrade) is also great, allowing a player to react quickly to an unexpected encounter to enemies or torpedoes.

Thanks for starting this thread as I'm also looking for tips and guidance on how to play Kremlin. 

Situational awareness in my opinion, which I kinda lack of, is more important compared to other BBs of same tiers. Even GK can just show broadside and run away if situations aren't favourable (while others can just stay at a distance away from harm), yeah will lose quite a chunk of health, but if it is timed properly, success rate of retreating still good. But for Kremlin, for one need to bow in for self protection, and that high citadel kills the feasibility of turning away. Once push in at the wrong time and place, good luck.. 😛

Usage of damage control party, I think the charges are quite adequate, as long as not to waste it on single fire/flood. 

Getting close, well this one much related to situational awareness. Limited gun range means can't help the team if stay back, not to mention no spotter plane consumables. But getting close means that Kremlin will become the big, unable to drop out of detection, juicy target to be shot at. Yeah good armour profile helps a lot, but still she won't last long under concentrated fire. And again hard to retreat when caught in such situations. Hmm, maybe I really should try putting propulsion mod on Kremlin.

As I played mid tier they were fragile sluggish rate of fire and accuracy within range

Kremlin is a brawler bit similar to GK but with better concealment so use that to your advantage

Capt skills are important I run a 19 point Capt on Kremlin with these skills which work for me others may prefer different set up

Priority Target

Preventative Maint

High Alert

Jack of all trades

Expert Marksman

Adreline Rush

Basics of Survivability

Survivability Expert

Superintendant

I also add all the flags for HP, Fire, Flooding, AA, reload etc.

I have my brawlers, Massachusett's and Tirpitz's and are set up for attack rather than defence. Unfortunately the first time I have ever been "detonated" was last night when I met a Seeyuz head on!!!

sail around early game for potshots

until you see a opening in the enemy formation to push up in mid-late game

I suggest you go back to the Izmail and suffer a bit longer. You didn't spend enough time there to feel the pain.
