World of Warplanes

Not looking for an argument, just stating a fact after playing all night. This game is all about the planes now, especially when there are 4 CV in a game the planes (CV's) dominate the whole game. It's no longer about the Warships. RIP surface ships. A good game ruined.

Yeah, I dunno. Admittedly I have only just started PvP again after stepping back while CV's morph into... well who knows, this isn't even their final form...

BUT, I'm not sure I agree with you OP.

The lack of DDs and thus DD scouting/capping is a game changer and one I am not enjoying, but as someone who plays a lot of US cruisers, well I am not dominated by planes at all.

I hunt them eagerly and I feel like I have killed more CVs by main gun fire in the new meta than in the RTS CV gameplay.

My own assessment is ongoing though, so I reserve my final judgement.

Any game with more than 1 CV it fast degenerate into a race to find cover, and friendly AA, nobody care or even dare to go do any real constructive advance, attack or anything cause they cannot ... survival is task no.001, then its staying alive, and staying alive .....

play DD more and you will understand why DD player not really interested even in playing, when you are forced to stay with the group to be even able to stay alive , had actual ( if inconsistent and ineffective ) AA .. venture out, you do not only have planes, but there's Radar, and every one of them out range you, out shoot you, out spot you and you had no counter measure of any sort .. so WG mean for DD to go spot, that's a joke right but then those personal task still say so ... screening, oh well, solo on the flank, a sure way to ask for a single way ticket back to port, capping ... are you kidding here .. when all the guns would only stay well behind cover, and at least 6 to 8 KM from the Area(s) their Radar effectively neutralized by distance ... what's left for a DD to do and how can they even able to perform at all ... ( not to speak of negative credit at anything like T7 and above ) ; I still play DD and frequently all I see guns do is stay last 3 line of MAP almost entire duration of the game ... many big guns intentionally would not go out to support nor to Tank, nor to PUSH .. so in the end DD and CL can rant about it, bitch about it, but things just won't change ( and WG still refuse to give proper AA, and proper Stealth ) so well what's for a DD player to do, just quit it, and for those who do not ( me included ) I now forget about team work, cause the team will not and they care not to support either, they care about their own hunt and damage farming so I care not for them either. I see a solid and positive PUSH, I will pitch in and help but for any others asking me to go cap, go scout, go screening .. I tell them ... you go help yourself .. I am not a fire bait .. good intention WG made the game the way it is, but Players are not coherent group by nature ... without mutual support .. all players aim to do their own and their own only .... and the game mechanics as well as the rewarding system further such ... those who actually go out ad tea play, support, and do all the dirty non rewarding little task are penalized by facing massive enemy incoming and likely another ticket back to port ( and without any credit and EXP rewarded for the deed done ) ..

Except MAKRA gud and FINE ADDITION TO GAME and all agree on this now.

KRMAA is best thing in game and always be nice to everyone so your MAARK go up and up and up and is gud.

Oh I agree. Not arguing with people's reasons to not play DD. I get it I do.

I'm just lamenting their absence.

me after having the absolutely sh8tty game where my Cv stuggle to do anything and me got to deal most of them when my team just running (ask @Max_Battle). I cant do anything to prevent the cap and just struggle to do when the team just constantly running and don't want to push the damn objective.

DONT MAKE A SLUGGISH COMPLAIN WHEN YOU DONT SEE HOW MUCH CV STRUGGLE TO HELP THE TEAM.

DD is something really good for it's air detection, but then come to this stupid OP DB by Midway. He cripple my Daring with 10k Dmg ( meh balance by WG again ) So we should point out the fact not the class.

Naw, you just have to somehow got on the wrong side of the enemy cv player. I've been focused by CVs because they have a hard on for DDs lol

Imo when DDs talk about being wrecked by CVs they are mostly referring to just HE DBs, but they lump all the CVs in together.

Well in any case CVs are going to be receiving yet another round of nerfs next patch... but I can bet people are still going to be complain.
