What's Happened to Alena?

After all the false drama making it look like Alena was going to completely replace Dasha, now Alena is MIA and this dude "Akhtyam Ibragimov" seems to have become a permanent edition and her replacement. I've got nothing against this guy, except that he looks like the poster boy for a warning campaign about guys that spike girl's drinks with Rohypnol, please bring Alena back instead.

Looks like Alena planes to replace Dasha completely failed... in the end she was replaced by one of Dasha's crownies!

Hey I've always been on Team Dasha, she is the Queen of WoWS. But when it comes to either wanting Alena back or keep the creepy guy with huge eyebrows and looks like a stalker, I'll choose Alena any day.

I'm curious as well. Sorry for saying, I still prefer ladies in such videos. 

Other videos eg naval legends, how it works etc I choose male /male voice over ladies, but not this one

1. I deleted all my social-media accounts over 10 years ago, due to my work back then and the security risks associated with using them. Trust me, once you shed that crap from your life you never miss it.

2. Ok you say she is on vacation with her bf (she has been gone for what; over a month now) but that doesn't mean she is still working for Wargaming. She might have gone on vacation after quitting or being let go, etc. I'll be happier once I see her back and that dufus looking guy gone.

Eh, to be honest, I don't care about either of them. 

I seek information about the game, I prefer to read through notes to find what I'm looking for rather than watch a video for 20 mins to wait for the info which interests me.

And really, because I don't understand Russian and listen to them dubbed over, just feels hollow, they don't connect to the audience very well.

Stopped watching... what's the name again? "full ahead"? Quite some time as most of the info can be read on the beginning of the month. It's quite a lot, still I will just try to remember important ones, if I can remember. 

I only noticed they put in a guy recently, not realising Alena is not around until last week or so. 

Compared to 3 years back there is a lot of small missions for rewards since last year, up to a point I stop taking note of them.

just an FYI, that's how her name is supposed to be pronounced, the "e" is actually a yo sound

Looks like she's been doing some work with AVANGARD TV. Last video she did was about a month ago.

Maybe she will come back, maybe she won't. Who knows.

The last video with Alena was from the 19th April, so we are getting on to two months. No one goes on a two month holiday, full stop (unless you are super rich, and people who holiday in Bali, as she did, are usually not super rich), yet alone then work for another organisation in that time. Its looking fairly clear she has left or WG has let her go, that means the GHB & Rohypnol poster boy is probably a permanent replacement, sad, vey sad.

Well with him being a permanent host now on WG videos I imagine everyone is excited as I am looking forward to series of the "Akhtyam Ibragimov" ship commanders, move aside boring old Dasha commanders. I imagine they will be as interesting and desirable as moldy old potatoes.

I asked myself the same question…

Why WG would replace Alena with that young man, if that is what they did, I don’t know.

My theory is that in Russia, individuals just disappear without a trace and people have learned not to ask. In the old days the KGB was behind it, today it is rather the Russian mafia. Both you don’t want to meddle with, or you may disappear, too!

Maybe Alena went back into full-time modeling?
