Is there a chance of getting detonated by HE Bombs?

Anyone got detonated by HE bombs at any chance? for example you're in a Battleship but the HE Bombs dropped in your Magazine/Turret and cause detonation, any cases from this?

I detonated BB with torps and AP bomb.

Also, detonated DD with rockets and HE bomb.

The chance of detonation is not high.

It should be virtually impossible since most battleships' armor around the guns are always thicker than their belt armor. Unless WG decides to increase the penetration of HE bombs. HE bombs can detonate the other 2 ship classes though. I detonated a Cleveland with Lexington, and in other case, a Fletcher with Implacable.

but a HE DB can did to you 10k at maximum potential damage per squadron so

yes, esp considering some BBs have some weird armor profiles with a liitle bit of edge sticking out *cough montana cough* that if you bomb through can cause a cit, or if HE, a deto since it's right above the mag

Yes, anything that has a magazine has a chance of being detonated if the magazine is hit.

I have been detonated before in a BB because some random torp happened to hit the area below my turret.

if AP Bombs can penetrate Battleships, how come HE can somhow Penetrate and destroy Turrets?

Any specific incident? I don't think I ever destroyed BB turret with HE bomb.

I've citidel'd Battleships with the tier 4 IJN CV's DB but never detonated a ship. Have hit a DD with a TB though.
