unfair container ships !?

How come some of my wows friends got the soviet BB mission and premium CV from containers ? 

They also have relative high frequency to get the super containers ?

But I never get any ships recently, I believe WG have some pre-defined conditions instead of random, right?

Random is Random, Random does not mean equal chance.  However pseudo-random number generation do allow program to set probability and distribution.

To add salt to injury, I got Izmail and Pyotr missions from non-prem Soviet container.

Indeed.

However, there can be a lot of other factors that can affect drop chance (your own PC or even the server).

I got the T5 and currently having the mission for the T7  Peter the Great straight to the SinOP, skipping 'It's mail'

And here I am, cursing the stars when I choose resource container to get coal only to be denied and instead slapped with a Super Container. WG be like, "Here, forget coal. You need to get a load of 100 flags of +5 speed!" -_-

Ive always been pretty lucky with the boxes.   Santa Crates were my favourite.  I jagged all the RNDD in the RN navy boxes.  Jagged all the premiums CVS except the kaga in those boxes and got the Peter and Vlad in the Russian boxes.  Some people are lucky and others aren't.  Its gambling.

i doubt only selected players have a random chance to get free ship

standard distribution is a good life skill for both real life and understanding WOWS game mechanics, you might wanna go take a look on that before saying that it's unfair

Distribution only make sense with very large population not to individual, otherwise you need a socialist distribution algorithm

Some random number generation algorithm takes your network card's MAC address, CPU ID etc as seeds for random number generation, as they are usually unique.

no no, if he's compareing himself to certain people who got containers it does make sense, for the people who didnt get anything they dont speak up, and the outliers that did get stuff will be extra vocal, so it would seem that the distribution of ships is skewered

no it's not, i was talking about perception of chances to crevice items in game against community though, i know what you mean i was just talking about sth else. 

 

wows really should have a minimum drop like FGO of GBF where if you roll 10 in a row you are assured at least sth of SR qualtiy
