WG gathering is non-existence?

What happened to those gathering (e.g. AFASG 2016). Am I missing out on some events or the funding to these events are exhausted?

A fragmented community spred over 1/4 of the globe and a lack of wg staff.

Most WG fests are in the upper pacific region, Australia tends to have one every second year, New Zealand the other year. Most are mid to late year

I see, too few people per area to justify the gathering. :fish_palm:

I still remember how I looked forward to every year's gathering even though it always clashed with my exam period.

Kinda hard to attend in my case since our country is archipelago and very costly to go to other main island, though kinda fun to see the video afterwards since you'll be seeing the smile on the faces of the player and how active the community is... Gold ol time
