Found it.

Not bad. Last few minutes of music made my ears bleed though.

I did like the bit with the Misaki Akeno captain. Captain names and pictures are so rarely the focus of videos, existing purely for the player in port.

And watching broadsiding BBs and beached cruisers getting deleted is always fun.

For creative criticism, I suggest focusing more on creating a more original flavour. Just little bits here and there which clearly define it as YOUR style (there are a lot of meme videos out there). Though I imagine that come naturally the more you do.

Overall, good first attempt.

Well, not bad for a first video. Actually, really well done and hard to believe this was the first video you made.

 

But, is this meant to be funny or a Yamato tutorial? It looks like a bit of both.

 

Personally I don’t like the twisting/shaking of the picture. That kind of stuff makes me dizzy.

 

Personally I also dislike the computer voice videos. I prefer a natural voice with an accent to any computer voice.

 

There is a line between funny and silly. Silly is certainly easier than funny. Genuinely funny is quite difficult, actually. I do like Jingles videos, for example the funny ones he made for “The Ring”. Those are very funny, but not silly. Jingles won that competition for a reason. He makes those funny by becoming the very British captain “Jingleton Smythe” or whatever the name is, who is a caricature of a British naval officer. The same thing probably won’t work for you, you have to find your own style.

 

Don’t get discourages, keep it up. This was a very good start. I couldn’t make such a video.
