GKF full secondary build with IFHE is very fun. Hands down some of the best enjoyment most evil pleasure you can have in WOWS

Congrats on your 1st T10! 

IMHO, same as with Conqueror the stock guns are better. At least GKF keeps the same number of barrels, unlike Conq which loses 1 gun per turret with the bigger guns. However the 3 second longer reload in exchange for slightly more damage just didn't add up to a worthwhile trade off for me. Remember this is a GKF and you still have to hit stuff. I would rather have the 3 sec faster reload any day.

Plus at the time I did not have the 2.5 Mill credits to spare for the "gun upgrade" after buying the ship. Most would be in the same boat I would imagine. Credits are not an issue for me now as I keep a constant balance of 200+ Mill even after buying 18 T 10 ships, but even after trying it out extensively, I went back to the stock guns. If you can afford it and are feeling curious try them for yourself. You never know you might like them.

If a BB can do > 27 knots, in GKF's case 30 knots, she is a fast BB

Interesting to hear your thoughts on the 406s. That's what I was thinking myself. The voice in the back of my mind telling me to try the 420s will be a bit quieter now.

Well yes, if you look at just top speed then she is fast, the problem is it takes half the game to get to that speed and the other half to come back to a stop.

Is it safe to assume you grinded FDG completely rather than skipping with FXP like some do?

GK is as fun as it can secondarily be. Hahaha. Bad pun. Near uncitadelable. Either set of guns have decent penetration, subjected to the usual German dispersion.

However, therein lies its main weakness. You go up to dakka dakka support. No one supports. That is what happens on the server frequently.

For the sake of saving free xp, I only free xp 10k.
