With the set roles of each class of ships pretty well set out, we should go for a reverse roles event. where BBs have to capture the baseswhile half the enemy dumps on them.  ANd the DDs just have to guard the CVs

Bahahhaa not enough sleep.....................

Many players cannot master their ship’s designed roles, let alone those of other classes.

Sounds Hillarious Though.

And while BBs have trouble capping because they can’t hide and will be continually reset, their threat presence is good for controlling areas... so long as DDs don’t just flood the area with torpedos. I do enjoy pushing caps while in KM BBs though.

Actually sounds like fun ... seriously as a DD main I have to admit there are more than often I had to run back and defend that dumb CV that just refuse to MOVE

"BB, spot!"

"BB, WHY DON'T YOU CAP? IT'S YOUR JOB!"

"BB, radar that cap before you cap it!"

"BB, provide AA support!"

"BB, use your planes to scout!" Wait. What?

"RNGesus, BB, why are you so dumb?"

"BB, do EVERYTHING"

there are times i have to cap on my destroyer North carolina.

one again. you're on asian server. lots of cowards and people who lack initiative. you can just order them around to do their roles, like i do every-time. most of the time they listen. unless they dont know english.

Imo everybody should attempt to cap if they are able to.

That's where thing start to get complicated though ... able to ... how do one really quantify or warrant such ... these days the reality is most BB and CA just refuse to move up to CLOSE SUPPORT range so in effect they take away the team's DD and CL's ability to cap ... but of course all DD and CL player got is " go cap ( fill in your own choice of area ) " ... mind tha I say CLOSE SUPPORT and that mean thee guns need to be close enough to be able to suppress and drive away enemy force with immediate effect .. that of course require them t be right behind he light force and clearly that's where they do not want and simply do not care to do ( most of them ) This is Asian server, there are too may who know only to damage farm, scoring kill, but would not take any damage , would not tank, and would not support .. in fact more tha often what I see is guns using their own light force to act as fire bait instead .. there is good reason why tis great divide develop between the guns and the light force.

I play DD and Cl main, and nowadays I simply refuse to go forth unless the guns come along .. else well .. they believe they can score victory just by sitting at the back .. then how is a humble DD suppose to disagree wit it .... let's all stay last 3 line of map and just sit it out ( not like my guns can reach 20KM )

BBs are not to be used as DDs.

They are used to inject MANLINESS into allies near a cap.

When you have cruisers and DDs, hiding around a cap, yet refusing to cap, you inject yourself into the front lines.

In at least 50% of cases, your allies will start pushing with you.

Works great on a ship with good secondaries and turtleback armor.

The more allies in an area, the better..

You must be aware of where enemy ships and DDs are though.

Does not work at least 66% of the time. Should I ask for a refund?

:P

Hmmm. May be a lifelong condition then.

It can be controlled by regular venting in forums,.
