Coop Players dont see enemy aircraft, so dont make planes shot down part of a mission if coop included

There are no enemy carriers in coop.

But latest mission includes necessity to shoot aircraft down. Nobody in coop can do that.

Since the carrier change, coop went from having an almost guaranteed chance of seeing enemy aircraft to none guaranteed.

Is this going to change? Otherwise, drop shooting down aircraft, or sinking carriers as coop mission targets. Its simply not possible, making mission worthless.

WG said they are working on the bot AI for the new CVs. Once that is done, they will add them back to Coop.

You're referring to the Fly Strike Win mission where you have to shoot down 100 aircraft. Mission will be well over before any bot planes are sorted. WG content devs don't always think these things through sometimes.

WG content devs forget that a significant portion of players only play co-op or scenarios. And don't play PvP.

Players often forget that in coop enemy AI ships could launch spotter planes or catapult fighters and those can be shot down.

I think coop mode was introduced to help newer players learn, and a bit of a sandbox for others to test in, not expecting it to become a  gamemode in their MMO in its own right, as due to their own formula of rng MM grinding etc they have made humans sick of random battles mode.

If they had coop mode in WoT, random battles wouldn't be able to put a battle together!.

I reckon a lot of people would go back to WOT if it had co-op.  I know I would.

If WoT had PvE, I would gladly go back to playing WoT.

PvE, or rather the lack thereof, was one of the reasons I stopped playing WoT in favour of Armoured Warfare and WoWs.

So what? If a mission is available for completion in as many modes as possible, isn't it a good thing?

Bots do launch aircrafts. Which can be shot down.

Actually writing a cv bot for this rework is easy. The not so easy part is writing it so that it doesn't murder the human players 100% of the time.
