Manually control the AA? possible solution?

I have an idea. maybe. ?? hmmmmmm............
Why not add a some features that every players can control their AA manually so that they won't whine anymore, pointing or blaming the team, the CV, etc. for their bad gameplay? 

Scenario: Planes on the air, enemy ships on front. 
its either you focus on firing an enemy ships and make the AI control the AA and damage would be based on RNG

or

leave your main battery guns, and manually control the AA to shot down some enemy planes.

hmmm? what do you think? :Smile_great:

we have manual aim before, we can designate primary target .. now we cannot , and Manual AA do nothing to very little in this patch

I hope we can manually control it again so that players won't blame or whine about AA is not effective on this current meta. 
still waiting for WG announcement about new CV rework.

its not just the aiming the AA mechanism had serious fault and the changed plane and plane attack mechanism mean most of the attack plane can simply attack with immunity , while AA can be getting ever less effective when ever plane come near, so so brain dead ...

that manual aim you talking about is 100% of your AA will be focus on designated target. that still based on RNG. cause AI is controlling it.

Yes but at least its directing the fire towards that target , and old system prove everyone had a chance to stand its ground or at least able to defend right now its like no matter how you do you cannot defend .. and the Perma-Spotting still not taken are of , in fact worse

cause CV planes have health consumable, (all torpedoes planes) , its either the player use the health consumable in order to get near you.

Yes, just look at how Battlestations: Pacific implemented it for a similar idea.

AI controlled AA but players can take over at anytime.

that's why reworked need to be done. so you want all planes to be shot down and CV would be able to get damage? and when team lose, they will all blame the CV
if you ever played a CV you will know that feeling, not be able to contribute in your team cause too much AA, and players will blame you for not spotting.
old system has a limited planes, thats why CV players are afraid to rush or let all their limited planes to go to waste.

yep, that was the point. so that community won't blame or whine anymore for their bad gameplay.
