Ships We Won't See in WoWS

Hello Everyone,

I am listing the historical proposed ships that would never appear in World of Warships and we should also not expect to see them in the future, these ships are:

-  IJN I-400 Class Super Submarines

-  Kriegsmarine H-44 with 20 inch main battery guns

-  IJN Design A-150 Class Battleships surpassing the Yamato

-  Missile guided Battleships and Jet aircraft launched from Aircraft carriers

Any ships with guns larger than the Yamato would never appear, same reasons as to WoT never receiving the Sturmtiger Heavy Siege Artillery with a 380 mm naval mortar and the Ratte tank. Most Battleships in World of Warships have 14-16 inch main battery guns except for the Yamato. Battle Cruisers such as USS Alaska and HMS Hood would probably have their own branches beside the battleships.

rumor say that A-150 will be tier X and putting Yamato IX and Amagi to VIII for IJN tech line

but that just rumor

H-44 will be the most powerful BB of all if H-44 get into game

you can just sit on side of the map and shoot anyone you like :teethhappy:

oh and H-44 were plane to have torpedo tube, wait no, all of H-class are suppose to arm with torpedo

We won't be seeing submarines in WoWS, because the title of this game is World of Warships, and submarines are technically boats, not ships.

The US Navy classes submarines as boats.

The Kriegsmarine also classes U-boats as boats (What does U-boat stand for? Unterseeboot, essentially "under sea boat").

that would cause flooding if hit just above the water line :D

Ill be more worried about capsizing on a small wave, or if you turn too shape, capsize as well... winning team is the one who can stay afloat :)

Update: The Midway Class Aircraft Carriers appearing in game are uncertain, Developers still deciding what ship should fill in the tier 9 gaps.

You might see merchant ships if there is an escort game mode implemented.

It would really make more sense if they were NPC ships which had to be protected or something similar. After all, there's no point wasting time and effort in making a ship which wouldn't develop on (and hence no one would buy) and is only useful for one mode of gameplay.

Just about all Battleships had torpedoes, @ CrimsonGabri

And practically all battleships had their torpedo tubes taken out during refits because they were cumbersome to use, unwieldy, virtually useless and a key vulnerability for a ship that was supposed to take fire.

You could possibly get submarines in, if they weren't the type to submerge to engage in action.  The French Surcouf, for example, or English M class (think it's M class, yes, single 12 inch).  K class steam powered submarines took half an hour to prepare for diving, so they could possibly get in as a form of torpedo boat.
