Kongo captain build and training questions

G'day All,

2 questions.

1st: Is there somewhere/somehow I can practice aiming and gunnery in a meaningful way?

My main battery accuracy is only around 19%, which contributes to my poor survival rates. I can barely hit another BB at 16 km and have only once hit a DD. That was a fluke firing blind into a smokescreen. I hope it scared the the beejeezus out of that player.

2nd: What are the skills an IJN BB captain needs? Other than a competent user!

I realized over the weekend that I have not allocated any captain skills to my Kongo captain. I have 6 point captain.

Thanks

About 2/3 down the page you will find a blue link that says show captain skills.

Look there.

Co-op and training room is your best friend. But I prefer Co-op instead.

Real skills:

  1. Aiming
  2. Positioning
  3. Map awareness

Commander skills:

  • Tier 1: Priority target.
  • Tier 2: Expert marksman.
  • Tier 3: Basics of survivability or Superintendent.
  • Tier 4: Fire prevention or Concealment Expert.

The tier 4 skills are both mandatory for BB. Choose wisely based on your play style.

So you still take Priority target as a BB skill as opposed to incoming fire?

I have incoming fire on my Myogi and that gives me enough warning most times to take evasive action. As a BB I always assume that any other BB that can see me is targeting me.
