Anyone experience odd ship behaviour in game ? s

slow to react to speed changes...takes up to 10 seconds for helm to react ... and when it does , ship slides sideways for about 10 seconds ...

enemies are not where you see them ...shots always land full boat length behind

Ping is normal at 80 - 90 ...happening for two days now ... and for a time earlier this year about March I know lot will sight LAG as problem but is,my LAG linked to PING ???

any thoughts would be appreciated

Looks like there were some packet losses. Can't see ping in replay though, since its -35 all the way 😛

maybe its what called desynch where server respond slowly. since WoWs is server based game. it could happen even your ping is gut.

or maybe you are just simply too tired and pressing the wrong keys :v

-35 ping means no connection... you are dropping packets

Not in a replay. Replay always shows -35ms. You cannot know what the actual ping was.

Ping command only reflect network layer performance partially. it is a special ICMP echo command from one network interface to request the target network interface to send back an echo response.

It is not exactly the communication performance between 2 software. you need to send something in volumn between the Bigworld client   and server to reflect the accurate communication status. which was build by Bigworld but no made available in any WG games.

You lost me after " Ping command only reflect , but that's OK ...the question is , will it sort it self out or need me do something

" like reinstall "  .... is it normal ?

Like to be able to play the game again

I was instructed by WG support to re-install the game many time for the few crash I reported. It made no different.

I used to have problem log into server. then I found switch back to class client helped.

don't know why the replay shows -35 ms but while playing it was 90 - 100 ms , I made sure to monitor it , another glitch I guess : try again tomorrow

That's desync. I used to have it bad, packet loss not high ping causes it. But I also had it when my cpu got too hot in my old rig. Use a cable rather than wifi etc and see if you can fix it.

It's definitely a desync/packet loss issue. When using ping tools you'll probably notice some packet loss.
