Main Gun Aesthetics

I see the bot ships sailing about with their guns locked either straight to the fore or straight to the aft.

I know we can lock on bearing or lock on sector but is there any way to lock our guns in a straight line like that?

I know, probably not, but just thought I'd ask.

It's a tidy look.

If you disconnect during battle your ship will do that. So simply pull out that internet cable and be the prettiest girl at the dance.

But that doesn't let "you" enjoy the beauty. More like, you have to pull the plug from others 😄

You can try the same way we ride a bi-cycle. We constantly keep fixing the imbalance left and right via steering. So, yah, keep micro adjusting your aim between port and starboard so the guns appear to be resting position as you constantly keep counter rotating. I know it's hard, but challenging as well. 😄

PS: I actually do this when I'm pushing to a cap/flank and I don't know which way I would have to rotate my guns at that time....

Screw Beauty. I wish we could do that because it means I could have my rear turrets locked in centre until I know which way they need to go.
