How many statistics of getting items in Sants Containers 2018?

and If any  ,statistics of other Containers

Apparently, there is a 'decent' chance of getting a Premium Ship, but what you get? That is where the mind numbing stupidity comes in. So far, I've only seen one person get a good ship and that was Jingles so..... suspicion abounds.

Imma give my honest opinion on these 2018 crates

Not as worth as last year

Dont buy if you have plenty of premium ships

It will be good if you just want to stack up the camo/signals

I just bought some to see for myself. From 20 mega and 20 big gifts I got around 25k coal, 20k or so doubloons. Heaps of special signals and camos.

As far as ships go I got: Massachusetts, Asashio, Nuevo de Julio and Boise, Gascogne, Ashitaka, Haida, Duke of York and Aigle. I already own or got through presents from the last two years, every other prem ship available through the ship drops. Plus I already had from FXP Missouri, Kron and Musashi. I'm already rolling duplicates. Crispy Kreme and an Ashitaka so far. Probably won't be buying any more as there are no more prem ships for me to get.

Not a lot here if you are expecting a certain ship to drop. Odds of that happening without you spending huge amounts of money are pretty slim.

Honestly these are pretty meh compared to last year and total garbage compared to the year before that.

Very very disappointing. From 5x Santa Mega gifts got 3x 20 new year camo. Exactly what I didn't want. Not happy! Not Merry!

bought 60 Mega,  got Roma, Mutsu,  Molotov, DeGrassse, Aigle, Krasny Kryn, Arizona, Blyswika, about 10K Doublon, 10k Free XP,.. that is all.

and I would stop buying anything from WG from now on.

Murmansk, Molotov, Duca, T61 and Ashitaka dropped from 20 bigs. Pretty happy, especially for T5 ranked.

next rank sprint will be T6, but still you have rolled a few decent T6 ships here.

The Chance of getting a ship is very very very very very LOW, the chance of getting a rare ship is less than nil. The chance of just getting Camos for ships is very very very very very high you may be very lucky and get Doubloons. If you are very very very extremely lucky you may get a destroyer if you buy 50 Sants Mega gifts. But then it will not be worth it so better just to buy the ship you want if its in the store.. And just to prove my point im very very stupid and have more than two accounts so I have tested it the chance if getting a ships is so low you would be better just not bothering and just open the free ones..

Oh WG are feeling very merry, all these players (like me) forking over their hard earnt money and they basically given you nothing you want and instead give you a few useless camos and flags. This Xmas WG are not giving us any presents instead they have slipped down the chimney, eaten everything in the fridge, swiped the cash & credit cards from your wallet, pissed on your couch and made their getaway in your car laughing all the way... Seeing how much of a bunch of con-artist WG are they would do that if they actually could, still they robbed us all.

Anyone compared the amount of camo from mega boxes? I think last year it was like 40x xmas camo in mega box. This year is 20 only. Need to take a look at last years video.

From memory last year the huge Santa gifts were the blue boxes. You could get 30 "Frosty fir" camos or 30 special flags (as well as the other stuff like dubs and ships). So yes most definitely a nerf compared to last year and an even bigger one from the year before. 

 

Also I noticed that last year in the huge gifts you got the same number of "frosty fir" camos as special signals. 30 of each from memory. While you only got 15 of the "Type 59" camos.

WG decided that was obviously way too generous and you get less camos compared to Special signals this year in the big and mega gifts. 

Big Gifts:  6x "Type 59" camo  OR 10x "New Year Streamer" camo OR 15x special signals

Mega Gifts:  20x "New Year Streamer" camo OR 5x of either "Mosaic", "Asian Lantern", "Spring Sky" camo patterns OR 30x special signals

 

Christmas 2016 was my first playing WOWS and I remember specifically WG advertising the Christmas boxes back then with the information that every box will contain items that exceed the value paid for the box. No such mention of that this year, or last year if I am not mistaken. 

 

TL;DR version is that once again these Christmas gifts are not great value for money and that if you are expecting a certain ship that you badly want you are not going to get it unless you are really really lucky OR you spend huge amounts of money on these boxes.

Only  two T6 & T8 premium ships from 15 boxes. Seems less successful than previous year's Xmas boxes.  Also no premium time as a possible draw either.

Unless the regular Santa gifts drop a ship they seem to be pretty disappointing.

Luckily I already had the Krazky Kreme, HuangHe  & Dunkerque which seem to be common drops on for various CC videos of Xmas containers.

Finally, I decided to join the carnage for this year too. Bought 10 Big santa boxes. I'm not aiming for specific results, only to satisfy curiosity. And these stuffs what I got:

Z-39, 5x 1000 doubloons, 2x 10 New Year Streamer camo, 1x 15 Leviathan signal, 1x 15 Scylla signal.

Is that good, or bad?

You have done ok there. Getting a T7 prem ship and 5x 1000 doubloons from 10 containers is a success in my book.

It all depends on if Z-39 was something you were interested in, and whether or not you play DDs and like Z-39. If you do then it is ok, if you don't then it isn't great value for money.

No ships. 1250 dubs, 7500 coal. All the rest was flags, and camo.

I managed a 90day premium time drop from one of the 2017 Xmas boxes....didn't make up for not getting the Alabama (had to buy that with doubloons) 

One of the WOWs podcasters was also sad to see no Xmas time discounts on premium time this year...he said last year it was about 1/2 price (probably on NA server).

I would speculate based on what I've seen posted from various posted results, and my own results, that the premium ship drop rate of huge boxes is likely to be in the 15-20% region.  You can likely halve that for the big boxes, and take 20% of that for the small boxes.

So on average you should get 3-4 premium ships per 20 pack of huge boxes, 1-2 per 20 pack of big boxes, and 1-2 for every 40 small boxes.  Obviously it's RNG, and the less you buy the less likely your luck will even out.  So if you buy 5 huge boxes, you have good odds of getting a ship, but you could easily not get a ship as well if RNG goes against you.

This is speculation of course, but it's likely to be in the ball park of reality.

Literally my first crate was a T8 ship!

The bote and the doubloons are worth $66.12 AUD. I spent $28.90 on the crates.

I don't know how to calculate the value of the others - they are just cream I guess.

I only have 2x 19 point captains and one of them is Japanese DD trained!

Now, how DO you play that blessed lolibote!?
