my laptop use gtx 1050

latest driver upgrade that came out just yesterday cause WoWs FPS to drop drastically, (not just WoW. but every game in my laptop e.g. rise of tomb raider)

I use to run at maximum setting with smoothly 60 fps, but after upgrade, it's drop to 10 - 20 , absolutely unplayable

I just have to frantically search for older driver (previous driver) to install and now WoWs is running smooth again fex minute ago

am I only one experience this???

Game Ready Driver break the comps all the time , you only need to update once in a while , like a year.

You dont need to update the latest one

Just stick old one if it not provide somethings you want to update

Same problem with me. So I just revert back to old updates that work without problem.

That's why I always stay 1 version behind on Nvidia drivers. Latest ones always screw up...

If your in windows 10 just disable auto driver updates just google how to do it and update your graphics driver direct from nvidia once every 6 months or so.

All my Nvidia GPU that powered my rigs right now (GTX 980M, GTX980, GTX 1080Ti) using Nvidia 399.24 driver update.

Still rock on like a charm. No major issues or fps drop in any AAA title games I play.

I have a GTX 1050Ti and my FPS has been dropping as well. Good to know that it's the driver. Gonna revert back as soon as I get off work.

I think what he mean is GTX 1060 should able to crank up FPS more than 75... may be???

I heard that FPS is limit by the monitor itself and 'vsyn' is also effect FPS as well....

dunno, I'm not an expert =w='a

Could be a restriction by having vsync set,or the laptop itself limiting it.

I game on a desktop computer that will be 7 years old this christmas,i7-2700k with 16 GB Ram and a 24" LCD monitor at 1920 x 1200,vsync off.Had a Nvidia 580 GTX in it till a few months ago when it died, and replaced it with a Nvidia 1060 3 GB GTX.

Before and after the video card swap FPS is a steady 82,only seems vary due to lag issues.
