Going backwards

Does anybody else feel like they're going backwards in WOWS? Until about a month ago I seemed to have a fairly average success rate in battles - I'd do OK once or twice, really well occasionally, then I'd have a poor result. But for a month or possibly longer I seem to be having disastrous battles all the time. I quite often feel as though I have enemy ships at my mercy but try as I might I can't seem to sink any even though I felt like my aim was good. Maybe I've just progressed to a point where almost everyone is better than me. If I don't improve soon I may have to find another way to waste my time. 🤔😊

Happens to me as well, comes and go's though. Yes sometimes i feel like the gods are taunting me! especially with bb's shell dispersion, beautiful broad side criuser going full noise at 10 km... to easy, but no all over pens or misses!!

  I suggest sacrificing a chicken, or goat maybe?

The DD playerbase quality has dropped too low since most decent DD players moved out to other classes because of the imbalance against DDs.

I definitely have my ups and downs.

Try watching some random (recent) You Tube vids. I sometimes pick up hints and tips just from a random shot or comment.

Yep, I do too.... No matter how good you are, you have good runs & then suddenly poof.....all your experiences & skill suddenly vanishes, & you feel like the worst player on the team, & they all start saying "git gud" , & its all down to one individual.......

If you see him, there is a reward out for his capture & removal, here is an up to date photofit profile of him, he is considered dangerous & an enemy to all game players....

Absolutely.

There is that sinking feeling you get when you realise just how much stoopid was employed to get yourself taken out of a battle. Shrug, utter some expletives, mumble to yourself about not repeating that again and go into a new battle.

Naturally everyone is human so a repeat performance of stoopid is always on the cards. That is just the way it is and like RNG and MM you can either:

• get worked up about it, bitch, moan, whine and/or whinge (not on the forum please. there are already way too many redundant contributers of this category); or
• get a good verbalisation of "Bugger" or stronger ("Firetruck") out of your system. Kick back, have a beverage and hit the brain reset button.

Having had a bad run of battles, your inner masochist devil kicks in and you decide it is a great idea to review your stats. If you are into self-flagellation, fill your boots. If you want to maintain any shred of perspective and enjoyment, slap that masochist devil firmly about the head and send it back to its hole.

Of course someone (maybe even yourself) will attempt to ease your suffering with the old chestnut "It's only a Game". Your indignation will accelerate like a lunar rocket at launch. How can anyone be so blind as to not see that it is World of Warships. World of Warships is so much more than "just a Game". If you reach this level of frustration, shutdown the game and find something else to do.

So yep, what you are experiencing is normal. Like a mozzie bite, you can scratch it until you bleed or you can ignore it, the itch will pass and soon be forgotten.

And if you see Ordrazz's guy or any semblence of it, treat it like you would a CL/CA showing full broadside to your BB with AP loaded. Swat the bugger.
