I noted that patch 0.7.11 will enable you to record replays of games, my question is, how and where is the replay folder stored? I have already trolled through my Wows folder in my computer drive, but no replay file seems to exist.

Thanks chaps 😀

Apparently with Worldofwarships.exe itself.

Somewhat of a pain because if I want to watch a replay I have to open up the game.

(now I can show people how broken Halloween NC - Leviathan is)

So, are you saying that you need to have the game running first, then jump out and run the replay?

No. Just like any other program, set their "Open with" application to WoWs.exe. Then you just double click on them (the game must not be already running at this point). Often you will be asked for login, either wait or just login normally.

I might have been unclear. Let me clarify: when you click the replay, the game itself has to start, to me that's just bothersome.

Well, I've looked through the WoWs game file and am unable to see a file marked .exe, but the game starts fine.

So, not sure whats going on here.

That's alright. It's because you have extensions hidden.

But, from properties of replay files, (right click > properties), you should be able to set a default program. Now, if you browse to your wows installation folder from that dialogue box, you should be able to see the executables only.

Alternatively, go to your folder options, and check show extensions for known file types. Check the link below (show file extension section):
