Post battle service in high tiers are very expensive. It should based or depends on the player's performance in the battle. I have seen myself playing passively with my BB and the cost shouldn't be that expensive. If the performance of a player is low, the cost should be cheaper. Vice versa.

Wasn't there are recent thread that suggested the opposite to keep out the so called "n00bs"?

As someone who played under both systems, the current one is in most part balanced. You do earn more is you are more proactively pushing. If you really cannot make the credits, a suggestion would be to invest in a long-term premium account.

It will never suit everyone. Originally the post battle costs were based on damage received.   This caused a lot of passive play so WG changed it to stop people playing passively.  Passive play is in some peoples nature so it will never stop.

What if I charge forward, and then takes a lot of damage. But I still struggle to being aggressive because the enemy team is sniping?

I just made my way to a top tier match today and I fully agree that post-battle service charges are exorbitant and unaffordable, but Its evident that this was WG's long-term strategy to keep the masses from spamming high tier games while keeping mid tier games (5-7) populated with these "n00bs" and credit farmers (T10 yamamoto drivers XD). 

I uptiered to my first ever T8 ship (Bismarck) and I found it to be a very enjoyable experience, although I lost like 30K credits in one battle and earned like 1k credits in another post servicing and ammo resupply and it didn't bother me cause I already farmed 40Million credits with my T7 & T6 premium ships and I'm gonna keep them around just in case I go bankrupt from maintaining top tier ship(s) lol.  If you don't wanna  turn to a low tier ship for credit farming, then buying premium time is incredibly helpful in the long run

We have worked so hard to earn our favorite top tier behemoths,  but how far are we willing to go to maintain them?  🙂

I do agree that some form of revamp should be made, it need to be based upon how much damage deal and how much damage being received , but then it should also factor in others .. on high tier games some time its not always about the damage both way. I have no idea what would made the best balance but I do now just basing on a limited aspect of the ship relly do not made much sense and could be seen as skewing towards certain play style and it is.
