Cooping in my new Budyonny.

I only got up to Kirov some time ago but abandoned the line because I didn't know how to play a fast but poor turning glass cannon bote with lasers for main guns. I had a similar experience when I first tried German cruisers too, but now, with more experience, I am enjoying the Russian bias 😛

Was in a bot mostly game, only maybe 3 humans on allied side? I chased an friendly Omaha up through C in Fault Line and watched as he drove right beside an enemy BB, so close that I could not fire without hitting him. I thought he would torp so I wasn't that worried.

He stopped beside the BB and died.

Then he started the ranting and trolling. I didn't know what he was saying. He sounded like a really badly dubbed Anime and it was hilarious.

Then I got crossfired by a BB and a CL and died, losing the coop game! I did get 2 kills and topped the team, but still an utter embarrassment...

After the battle, this popped up...

Erm… should I be offended?

Well, coop games are lost, maybe once or twice in 100 games, but it happens.

I’m not sure why the bots on the side of the human players are worse than bots on the enemy team, but they are. Sometimes to win a coop game where you are the only human player is hard work.

In a  scenario with few human players I usually look where the other human players are and stay close, so in case I can give a hand.

Oh, yeah I guess. "Energy" is hit points?

Unless World of Warships is using a shield system I am unaware of?

Well if he is saying that "all the energy was dropped" when the BB was at 80% health after it killed him then I think we have different ideas about what "all the energy" means!

It took three torps from my Budy and a further salvo of HE to kill it after he died.

He was just raging, I know 🙂

Coop games are lost through human incompetence. As long as I have a human partner assisting, we will win the game despite the 2 v 5 odds. Which happened yesterday. Our 3 human team was left to fend off 5 bots after our own bots evaporated. Yes, evaporated. My divmate JB came in late due to a DC. My conqueror taking fire from both sides in CQC. Went from aggressive Rush B mode into defensive play until we turned the odds into our favour.

People fail to understand what defensive play means. It means minimizing damage while trying to still output maximum possible damage. Not run away. Run and hide is a different tactic used when you are winning and the other team has no hope of beating the timer.

So you want to tell me you need a division to win coop?

The vast majority of coops are a race for kills, even with only 2 or 3 human players.

Even with 1.

I regularly get 1k base exp coop matches when there is a CV and I'm the only human.
