I entered the UK code from https://worldofwarships.asia/en/news/general-news/ring-relaunch/ and I have a new personal assignment with the Ring insignia.

Not sure if it's because I entered the code or would have got it anyways??

Since entering the code, the sky has become overcast and it's drizzling nonstop.

And my beer turned warm.

But what's most odd, my kelpie transformed into a corgie.

Ahem.. you do mean Alsatian.

Be a good fellow and address the breed by its' proper term.

Its' only Colonials who give them that name.

And you wonder why we kicked you out.

They are shepherds from Germany, so German Shepherd.

Also, y'all on the wrong side of the pond don't know what real biscuits are.

By Jingo, I was so busy watering the roses that a bulldog never occurred to me.

Anyway, what could be more English than a Welsh Corgi?       *scratches head

the joke went over your head

:Smile-_tongue:

Spoiler

with the magic of copy/paste, i'll leave this.... the British were loath to using the name “German Shepherd” as the Germans were their arch-enemy and they (the British) didn’t want to associate with the Germans in any way, at least symbolically in this case. So, they coined a new name for the German Shepherd, Alsatian, which somehow some people has come to refer to as a different dog breed.   :cap_book:

Yikes, thanks for the heads up. Will enter code with extreme caution. :Smile_unsure:

Better go check on my Kelpies, I have 4.

Not looking forward to receiving 4 stumpy legged, podgy corgis as a replacement... :cap_fainting:

So what did the code do anyway ??

The Ring mission for 10? signals. I think I do them more for the objective than the reward.

Wow, now that's a reference I never though I'd see in a forum. I think its best some people don't get what it means.
