Not being a pessimist but would low end computers suffer?

I agree, but it will be optional (E.g. different rooms) , well if it is not well you are right.   THX FOR REPLYING EVERYONE :)

weather effect game play is a thing we all want since we saw the epic storm battle trailer

but then again :teethhappy: there would be a problem in that mode

torpedo could become useless etc :teethhappy:

and DD players would hate that~

Weather effects are already present on Xbox 360 and Xbox One for WoT. If WG ever port this game to console it probably will happen.

Then again, you don't see weather being in-game for PC version of WoT, so probably it won't be there for WoWS PC version either.

It's a sad thing, but it's annoying how the low-end players dragged the game progression down. (Don't take my words as an offense)

you know, a heavy storm would probably render a CV useless in that kind of map :D

but I kinda like the idea of severe weather conditions in-game, like huge waves making your aim wobble or bounce up and down, rain severely obscuring your vision (i.e rain water on your binoculars)

I would also like to add water hazards in-game, like sea mines :D

Night battles (reduced visibility, searchlights), heavy waves (reduced maneuverability for smaller ships), storms (No-CV maps), squalls (naturally occurring "smoke clouds"). It would be genuinely fun.

Heck, Dantes, you make my thoughts seem like winning the bank volt from a casino a better option; I was gonna say changing weather conditions, clear after noon, night.. or clear night to story night, etc.

Sounds good in theory, but without having played it, it sounds like it would add another layer to balance and difficult to implement.

I.e if bad weather affected ship visibility it may have consequences of empowering destroyers being able to get closer undetected and launching torpedoes.
