Yesterday, I finally tried a few matches in Arms Race mode. I found it pretty enjoyable not only because it is fresh new game mode, but also its fast pace and aggressive nature. To my surprise, the quality of players are much much better than random game mode.

Here is typical Arms Race mode players:

And here is typical T9-T10 players in random:

So, what's your thought on Arms Race mode? Is it the way forward to retain good players?

I've had a few goes and it does make for a refreshing change. What I like best is that there are no stats to worry about (yet) so I can just concentrate on the game. Unfortunately, they don't contribute to the older campaign tasks (Halsey and other campaigns) or the Legendary Upgrade missions.

first impression : "YOLO" :cap_horn:

1. no stat/log/record/history..... no frickin win rate..... JUST YOLO

2. the smell of Secondary is stronk

3. reward the pushing team, giving stronk buff

4. obviously in game BEST MODE

why play Co Op if we can play arm race?

Yea, the reason I play was because I want to grind my stock buffalo. And I had a lot of success on it (won all 6 matches) because the matter is less passive, the 14.5 km range isn't a problem at all, unlike camping matter in Random game mode.

More like useless Worcrsters.

I took the useless Wooster in for an almost immediate pummelling.    Next game was tanking all the way to the cap in the Musashi.   The game had more ram kills in it than I have seen in months of WOWS.    I didn't think I would really like the game style but its far more aggressive that the usual high tier snoozefest of Yamato's sitting at the other end of the world and DD's getting microwaved by radar.

I quite enjoyed Arms Race on the test server, it was fast-paced and quite easy to capture those additional skills, which made quite a difference.

When AR arrived on the live server, I guess MM LOL’d me with a sequence of matches where our team was so clearly outclassed, it was not funny. Well, I guess it was funny for the other team, but not ours.

I can't see myself enjoy this mode especially in my shimakaze =w=

it force me into super aggressive play which I can see myself got radared and killed way~~~ early in match.

I mean those concealment buff still can't hide from radar... right?
