UI scale and trick

Just did, my note book has small resolution plus ship in rows only 2, and I found the way to increase it with UI scale

Example >> 77%

Nice trick mate,  i got a small 1280x800 laptop, so scaling down the GUI is helping me both in battles and in port.

What is difference between this and scale down UI option in graphic setting ?

The in game UI option graphic is kinda not working for low res. But even though I changed the UI with the trick above, it won't work. Sometimes the UI is big sometimes its small and it doesn't affect my FPS. It's still laggy:(

small resolution get no down scale for UI, only up scale

open " preference.xml "

and paste this >> "  <interfaceScale>    1.0000    </interfaceScale>  "

and change 1.000 to 0.80

save

and start the game in Full screen mode
