How, or can, I turn off the non-realistic camos and ships?

Hey, was a time that if you didn't have a certain port selected you couldn't see the anime ships. Now I am seeing cruisers sporting the futuristic or gothic schemes, and entire ships covered in a draped (as distinct from the normal stars and strips camos). Please, is there any way of turning that crap off? Kinda soils any chance of immersion in a game when a space ship passes you in a WW2 naval battle. Thanks

Go to bottom right of the port screen and open the symbol that looks like 2 cogs.  it says "open additional content panel".  Disable horrible camos there.

Still waiting for WG to add an option to turn off some of the more ridiculous patriotic camos though, especially the new American ones with that gigantic eagle.

NO ONE TURN OFF THE FREEDOM CAMO!!

I think you can turn off all other camo except the freedom ones tho.

The freedom camo looks horrible. It makes me wanna puke every time I look at this trash.

And I thought the Kobayashi's cloth hanger or water filter was bad, apparently there is no end of trash designs.

It is without a doubt one of the trashiest things I have seen in game.    The simmering hatred I have forthis design almost reaches the levels I have for the ARP skins

I would understand if this was even done right with any attention to detail to begin with. Look how the superstructure is screaming to get out of that skinoflage.

I hate the Red October camo the most. It's just gaudy, and WG's nostalgia for the USSR is blatantly obvious.

Would've preferred a more historical camo like the tricolour on Imperator Nikolai. Much more gentle on the eyes, beautiful in fact.
