WG please fix this annoying little but historically accurate error.

Paddle Steamers on the river Murray or Mississippi had steering.

Warships have rudders.

Also when a rudder or rudders (most ships had two one behind each propeller) gets hit you should make it so two things happen:

1. It gets jammed in its last position, or

2. It behinds sluggish to respond.

A ships steering contains many parts, including the rudder.

And if your rudder/steering is damaged, it does stay in the last position.

I don't think you read the entire post.

Yes Steering is made up of many components.

If the bridge took a hit you would lose steering but not the ability to control the ship.

All Warships had what they call an AFT Steering and an AFT conning position just for this eventuality.

Aft steering was accomplished not by Hydraulics like the main but via hand cranks and reduction gearing.

Hence why I suggested they differentiate between rudder damage and loss of steering.

Hope that clears it up for you.

Then you're playing the wrong game.

Unfortunately, this game is based on arcade gaming and not realism/simulator game you're expecting or talking about.

Would they also have to make sure only 1 ship of each is only allowed in a match, and that allies ships will always vrs axis?.. if we want to get historically accurate about things, as well as the locations on where these battles took place.?

I guess some matches only 2 or 3 people would be in, because of the era difference as well.

But are we nit picking the Russian to English translations only?
