New Ships for friday?

WG said they'll release 15 new ships to premium this friday, still not seeing any changes in premium shop as of the time of writing

Bought it, because I had heard good things, OP for T3 etc etc.

Have played only a couple battles and it's a tough ship, but the main guns are atrocious.

Have not played the Nassau and Koenig in a while, but I don't remember them quite as bad.

Actually quite funny to see the shells go in some goofy curve and hit water far away from the target...

Also turret rotation and reload are quite slow. Painfully slow.

I'm not too sure... the ship was cheapish and I may need time to get used to it... at this stage I could not recommend it.

The moment that Italian Conte di Cavour-class battleship hit the store, I bought it. Its definitely good, no fancy gimmicks but able to punch above its own weight nevertheless.

Next up, the Kaga.

I am thinking of getting the Kii, but only if I can get the camo. Also how many doubloons does the camo cost?

I don't have the Kii myself but around a month ago I came across a reddit thread with the same question as yours. According to that thread, EU/Asia players can purchase the Kobayashi camo for Roma/Kii seperately in the client with 7000 doubloons while NA does not sell that camo ingame. Would be nice if anyone here can confirm that.

Fair enough, Mikasa has even shorter range and worse accuracy, but nobody call Mikasa OP.

I quite like Mikasa, got her in a marathon and consider her a fun ship.

For KA I paid money, because she is meant to be an OP tier bully.

Mikasa is hilarious once you are in secondary range.   Its main guns are garbage.

My Mikasa captain is the Isoruko cat captain, with Vigilance and AFT skills. With flags almost 4km secondaries range. Yes, quite hillarious... Bad surprise for some noob DD captains...

Konig Albert is no slouch in the secondaries department either. With my 19pt secondary build Tirpitz captain and signal flag, its secondary range extends out to 5km. I haven't had much call for them in randoms yet, but in 1 coop game they did more damage than my main batteries and totally destroyed a full hp Weymouth in, what seemed like, about 30 seconds (they did nearly 30k dmg).

Yeap I just got one and put my Bismark captain in it.  Secondaries are very good
