should captureing rule be tweak a bit?

okay, everyone here in this forum should rule of capturing base by now

- one side get in and cap

- more ship cap faster

- both side get in, cap will be stall

- getting shot, cap gauge will reduce

 

I didn't say that current capturing rule is bad or anything

I just want to add number of ship into account

e.g.

when both side are in the cap but one side have 2 ship but the other have 1 ship

a side with 2 ship or rather 'more ship' in the cap will be able to cap that base (with slower pace of cause)

this would stop situation like only 1 ship park behind island able to hold that cap indefinitely even half of other team try to pushing in

also give a free information like....

'crap, I'm in here yet they still able to slowly cap it... mean there's 2 or more enemy ship in here with me, gotta bail out or call for back up'

People already aren't smart enough to defend a base cap. Remove the ability to stall this process and even more games will be thrown. No thanks.

There would be no incentive for lone DDs to continue staying in the cap if there are 2 enemy DDs, since theres totally no point at all. It also lets the side with 2 dds lose their element of surprise when doing double DD ambushes. 

Basically what it results in is DDs playing even more passive and refusing to enter the cap because "there are 2 ships inside im going around and start farming"

A lot of mid tier DD's are only just finding their feet playing a DD and don't have the confidence to take on 2 DD's especially when half the teams these days are to busy shooting BB's and CA;s and not supporting the lone DD; but these days if your in a tier 7 and above capping is becoming a mugs game with the amount of radar being made available, radars that reach further than most DD torp's so given that DD's don't stand much of a chance. To top it all off everyone gets the chance to own 1 or more radar ships by next month lmao, i must admit though nothing pleases me more than torping an Atlanta or a Belfast with 7k torps from minekaze or kamakaze, but i do have more frustrating games than good ones when it comes to radar spend more of the game running than actually playing thats if i can get out of the radar circle before being smashed. Just got to look at the last few rank seasons: tier 6 season was good flowing matches whereas the last 2 seasons being tier 8 and then 10 are exactly as was described earlier stagnate the cap and hide behind islands forcing long drawn out battles that just frustrate all involved causing more arguments and insults than i've seen in any other season. I've even told CA's to go cap cause until radar ship is down theres no point in me entering cap cause soon as i do radar goes up and low and behold i'm dead again maybe adding some cap incentive as described would help in some situations but once entering radar tiers no incentive is going to help....><>><>

I think I have to disagree. I feel that to encourage capping, you just need to add xp and credits earn for trying to cap, not only for successful cap but also for contesting and attempt caping. I don't mind if the reward is VERY low since it can be abused, at least have some way for players to see that they are doing something helpful. Make a counter (like for potential damage or spotting damage)like the amount of seconds a player is in a cap.
