Because everybody buy Cleveland, now everyone had T8 Ship & want to try their new ships who had "RADAR", awesome ... !
But because of these, probably 50% of players Match Making with Cleveland, 25% players match making with other +T8 ships.
Result, nearly all match makings, T8 became the center point. All T6 ~ T10 Match Making, always include T8 ships. Because T8 overpopulated the Match Making.

How the hell I can enjoy grinding my T6 ships when I always in match with the T8, I'm talking I'm the minority here.
From 12 players, 8 of them are T8, the last 4 are mixed between T6 & T7. And this is like 99% guarantee happening.
And my T6 DD are even more screwed up, because Cleveland had Radar. Now I have to fight a lot of T8 CA with Radar skill.
Crazy day, I dunno when it's will back to normal ... since noobs thinking grinding T8 generate more credits.

Well, fair enough, the matches are full of the new US cruisers. Also the length of the queue I saw last night was long, with over 150 players.

When you reach T6, that’s when you see T7 and T8 ships with radar in almost every match. You may as well get used to it now. Even without the new T8 Cleveland, you have the Belfasts, Indeanapolis’, Atlantas and Chapayevs. PanAsian DDs and RN cruisers can fit Radar from T8, but it will be instead of smoke, not many players give up smoke and chose radar. Also, the HsienYang’s radar is rather short range and duration, you rarely see players select radar on this ship.

About the radar evasion techniques, basically, you have to know what ships have or can have radar. When you sit broadside on in smoke and get pinged by radar, it’s too late.

Check the initial team lineups for radar ships, are there any? How many? Watch the map, where are they? If there are radar ships, what are the caps that have hiding places or good escape routes? If you see one of those radar ships approach the cap where you sit in smoke, get out quick. Don’t sit broadside on, point the nose of your ship in the direction you want to escape = have an exit plan. The other thing is get your team to support you… but that’s not happening most matches. I personally would assume an Edinburgh or Hsienyang has smoke rather than radar and not run.

Also the cooldown for radar is 2 or 3 min, depending on consumable. So a good DD knows after radar goes dark, he has two minutes to have another go at capping.

And keep in mind, if you get killed, you are of no help for you team. If you have to run to stay alive, run.
