We very much appreciate your feedback!  The team has done some balance changes which will arrive in the next update to address these concerns.

If you were wondering why it’s harder in its current format:

I think hard mode is okay for those who want to div up and play them. But for seven random players there an uphill battle due to coordination and ship choices.

Sounds like so good news, I played it once this rotation (with no luck). Happy to see it come out of hard mode :Smile_great:

Let’s just hope that when war gaming finally implement normal/hard mode operations, that they increase the rewards for hard mode rather than nerfing the rewards for normal mode.

This type of implementation would be fairer to their PvE community whilst keeping PvP clan/division players challenged.

Perhaps it might also encourage players to try divisions/clans for more coordinated game play when wanting to do the operations in hard mode.

Might also be beneficial if wargaming did some work on the “looking for a division” tab. Perhaps break in down into PvP > tier, PvE > tier, Operations.

I haven't got 5 stars in it at all in the current rotation.  Lots of 4/3/2 and the occasional loss.  Its near impossible to save the forts unless players mass AA and most don't.

I noticed this operation was harder, compared to last time. It was always one hard to complete with a bad team.

This last week I had only one 5 star win, often 2 or 3 stars and also several 800XP losses when the base was overrun.

One thing that is annoying is many players do not disengage and heal their ships to avoid being killed, when their health runs low. So the team shrinks more and more. They may even look OK on the team table with 3 to 5 kills. However, without enough ships/firepower in the last minutes of the game to defend the base, the game is lost despite good damage and kill number of individuals.

I actually have the same experience as you, despite this rotation seeming slightly easier than last time. It seems there are a lot more new players this time round.

I notice a lot of players straight up ignoring the Atlanta, or rushing the enemy CV and getting killed in the process.

No worries I teamed with 3 bbs before and no one went to the top of the right to kill Atlanta and make the game lost then blame our cv for not killing atlanta

I don't know whats come in their brain and rush to them like nobody business.

I am not annoyed that much by other players' behavior - it's still PvE after all and at least they manage to restrain themselves from joining PvP.

But when the bot BB of the last wave (and occasionally a cruiser or destroyer) literally ignores everyone around it to shoot the aerodome instead it's just stupid.

Hey at least the bot is playing to win, not to farm damage, which is better than most human players. :Smile_veryhappy:

You know it's going to be a good time when:

i) There are 2 DDs on your team on the loading screen.

ii) The 3 BBs in your team totally ignore the Atlanta spawn up the top, and go straight to farm damage towards the elephant rock.

iii) DDs and CLs try and YOLO the first 2 DDs at the start of the operation, either getting torpedo'd or destroyed by the first BB/CA NPC wave.

iv) You're already down 2 ships by the time the Whiskey DD squadron spawns.

v) For some reason a DD or Fast Cruiser decides to hunt down Raptor, only to get killed on the way.

vi) By some miracle you've made it to the last wave and they are all concentrating their firepower straight at the Aerodome.

Yeah, so frustrating to watch them, yet so common. I struggle to understand the thought process behind their actions.

Blaming the CV for not trying to kill AA cruisers is extremely stupid. All the CV would achieve is getting his planes shredded.
