Here it says - http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Fubuki that her Type8 mod. 2 torp range is 10 km . But in my game it shows me 8km ? Also if I am using torpedo acceleration trait for extra 5 knots , does this mean my range is 8.0-1.6=6.4 km >_<. So now I have begun to think if I must really use Torpedo acceleration skill . Thanks in advance My Fubuki in game shows 6.0km range torpedoes on the A hull and 10.0km range on the B hull. The extra speed may not be an advantage to either ranges, (I prefer stock speed for torps unless they are like a Gearing range). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Once you have B Hull and then researched the Type 8 mod 2 torpedoes, then you will have the 10km range (excluding commander skills). Torpedo acceleration to me isn't worth it. I contemplated using it with my Shima standard 20km torpedoes, but went for the 12km ones and used the commander points elsewhere. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Torping is more on prediction to where your food is going and sometimes u dont intentionally hit them but more of area denial/curving their path tool, if u trying to win instead of farming that is. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

626 Harpoon01 Alpha Tester 6,605 posts 2,919 battles Report post #14 Posted February 27, 2018 Main preventive maintenance so your modules wont easily get knocked out, it is rumored to reduce the chance of detonations when your torpedo tubes got hit torpedo acceleration does not worth the range reduction, so you should pick the last stand so you wont be completely crippled when your engine and/or rudder got knocked out twice you can pick survivability expert or Torpedo armament expertise or both but you must pick one first since you must prioritize this one below skill Concealment expert, this one is no brainer, very obvious to take Optional Adrenaline rush is optional if you confident you wont die easily after having lost most of your HP, it gives you faster reload by up to 19,9% Jack of all trades along with superintendent for extra consumable and slightly faster cooldown RDF is the last thing you should pick in IJN DD since you wont hunt the enemy Destroyer other than IJN DD except Akizuki. unless you are as stupid as Sharkbait, i wont bother to tell you all this 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
