Will Missouri be gone forever?

Has there been an official source on WG's intentions with Missouri, will she be gone forever or just for the time being? As I'm not so convinced of getting basically a copy-paste with nothing but radar and economical gains, but I will probably get one if this is literally the last chance, collecting ships mean something to me.

If it does come back, it wont be for a year at the least.
But it wouldnt be the first ship to be, so far, permanently removed for players who do not own it to obtain

It could come back as a web shop premium and create an unbelievable shitstorm much like the good ol Type 59 from WoT. I think many late comers will bite the trap even though they knew it :)).

Who knows what the future hold.

I think this will happen. Missouri is not that OP as Belfast(which hopefully will not return in the same way)

Potentially unpopular opinion.

In terms of performance differential with contemporaries -especially when tiered up in mm-, the Gadjah Madah, the King George V and the Saipan are more OP than the Belfast is.

The musashi is more than just OP when you can easily get an Izumo as a counterweight.

As i have said , reality is stranger than fiction , who knows what tomorrow will bring.

IF the player base grow , more will cry to bring it back , and its likely chance for WG to cash in on their success.

not sure about the asia server, but the CN server was selling christmas crates a while back and it was possiable to get musashi from the crates, so it's techically fesable for them to stuff a T9 FXP ship into a crate, it's just up to WG to see if they want to do it or not

Pls put it in containers or make a campaign for it uwu

Not sure how they would ever work out a campaign (I know!.  grind out 750K FXP in a month) for it nor would it be on a level with any SC drop at the moment.

That's the drop rate for those shitty Wyvern flags.  Misery is 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001

She doesn't play like a copy-pasted Iowa though. That's what Musashi is, copy-paste Yamato that has reduced performance. Like, if you like Yamato, play Yamato why get Mushy? Mighty Mo actually plays different to an Iowa.

The problem with the Musahi doesn't lie with the ship but with the player.  Yes its down tiered Yamato with terrible accuracy.   Some people who have bought it are just like those that research the PzKw VI (Tiger1) in WOT.  They think of its legendary real life performance then whine and bleat when it doesn't fulfil their dreams in game.

People buy the Misery because of its reputation as a credit/xp earning machine and get the bonus that its a cloned Iowa with radar  that can bloody the nose of snekyradarsheeps.

Its just a far better package.   I've never heard of anyone regret getting it.    I certainly hope that WG don't offer it in any watered down deal or campaign or package as it is a hard earned ship for those that did the long hard grind for it.  They deserve to have their exclusive Misery owners club.

I personally prefer getting Musashi first, as I love the Yamato class in their original status, simplistic, clean and purely aggressive. I don't play T9 ships very often, but I want to collect both, or be allowed to do so. I can only get one for now as my clan want me to reserve at least 1M free EXP in case they need République and Worcester for clan battles.

It seem that no official announcement on the exact status of this removal, but I guess I should get Missouri, just in case.

just get it, screw your clans and tell them that the republique is still another large patch away and the worchester is even furthur off, if they want those ships then they have a entire rank season's worth of time to grind through it

I can see WG bringing the Mo back once a lot of players have gotten the Musashi, and rebuilt their FreeXP fund back up or have a lot of ship XP which players will once again throw doubloons at to convert!

I don't have a problem with it coming back as a free XP ship.

Yeah, its been free xp once,so shouldn't be a prob putting it back again.

At the very least it gives players something to aim for and play more!
