What's wrong with Amagi & Murmansk?

I'm a returning player. I used to love them both especially the Amagi, as much as I like Kongou.

Accurate, fast, and have no problem facing tier X ships back then. But now even on battle against tier VII feels hard, half my salvo are usually overpen, overpen everywhere. 

For the Murmansk, she is made of paper, but with good angle back then it's still alot fun to play. Now even with good angle i still got citadel/devast now and then.

I have no idea why, I don't know if there's any stats change on them or on others. Or maybe it's just me? 

I still enjoy playing Fuso, Atago and lately Yamato since finally got the camo for her that she stop being a hotel.

Murmansk really suffers from power creep and changes to MM with T4 only seeing T5 max. Amagi, well I don't quite have it yet, but I think it is still competitive. When I face one I dont think it is a soft target.

There has been a shift in the meta, even more hanging back now. Maybe it's your play style? A lot more HE being shot, even by BBs. I'd say fire prevention / tank build a are a must .

Amagi is still a good ship nevertheless

but i havent compare it to British and upcoming French Battleships in the same tier

I tested in training room yesterday and the result with Amagi is quite disturbing. Even at close range I overpen literally most of the Tier VII ships including BB, like Colorado though i should get a minimum of 3 citadels per salvo as it used to.

Haven't fully tested against all ships in relevant tiers.

Amagi is still amazing and tbh probs my fave BB of the line, even though I love so many of them.

Murmansk and Amagi, none of them really changed much, if at all. It's just that your absence made your skills a bit rusty. Murmansk, still is, one of the best t5 cruiser, same for Amagi, was best choice for ranked this season, must be something. Right?

Murmansk was really a fun ship.. but i agree with it being made of paper... and easy to citadel regardless of the angle.

Really enjoyed the Murmansk, had many great games in her. More than any other ship I had at that time, I felt I knew exactly what I could do and what I couldn't. When to push and when to kite away. When I could favourably trade damage and when I couldn't. Back before I had the Kutuzov and the molotov it was my only prem Russian cruiser. I haven't played it in quite a while due to an overcrowded port, but sad to hear it has been powercreeped so badly.

Only just unlocked the Amagi myself, but I haven't bought her as yet. AFAIK she was one of, if not the best T8 BB. Very highly regarded and very deadly in the right hands. I will have to see what I think of her.

Amagi. Good because it has plenty of guns plus the bonus fact that most shells overpen her instead of cit'ing. Paper armour yes, but she is a fast and maneuverable ship compared to her peers.
