High ping activity when you are winning. Any thoughts?

Thanks for all the info over the past months Ladys and Gentelmen. I have a problem developing. My Ping rates have gone from around 85 to 110 during a game up to 300 to400+ during a game.

original ping rates on my system are ok. the new ones over the last couple of days are not. Any advice would would be appreciated.

Maybe stupid but try this. It actually works for me except I turn my main router off for the whole night because ISP is giving me new IP address and needs to renew.

Can happen any time. Good thing it has been happening for the winning games, so you are less salty.

Thanks for the advice i'll try it Mingfang47. I don't think i'll ever be salty icy_ but we all have to give it a go..

I'm not really looking forward to Tier V. Tier IV is destroying enough of my ships to start an international scrap yard.

Still it's all good fun " isn't it "?

Yes, tier 5 could be hard, and most ships might need help too, but that's also where the challenge is. What is a game without a challenge, and what is the point of investing time without progress.

Anyway, just make sure nothing else is leeching your bandwidth. Sometimes steam may randomly decide to update, or a torrent client might be running, YouTube playing in the background... Windows update? Try talking to your isp for possible route optimization to game servers.
