Shot at by allies for not spotting in DD with CVs

Is anyone else getting this as well? 

On more than one occasion last week, while playing DDs with a skilful CV on the enemy team, ive had most of my health removed due to friendly fire. 

I was being spotted by planes and had to retreat into friendly AA, then this Montana just unloads a salvo at me and calls me 'noob DD, go spot'. He didn't even turn pink! 

These players should not be allowed to get away with this!

Those players bring in easy money and that appears to be all WG care about.

yeah... just yesterday I has similar situation

he got crazy and scream in chat like mad man for losing and frame me for not spot & cap enemy base that half of them guarding it.

might have had sth to do with my clan tag? ppl dont generally mess with us, one of my clanmates went into ST same time as me and he's still there (i left), and he VERY rarely gets TKed, prerhapes once or twice the entire last year...

You know me, so I know you wont take this the wrong way. 

And in the circumstances you described you were most certainly in the right and the guy shooting at you was being a diseased reproductive organ. 

But can you truly claim you've never felt the temptation to take a salvo at an allied dd who you feel has ignored the objective and easy spotting to farm damage and play safe even when you're risking your neck to help him/her/x ?
You shouldn't do it (EULA and all) but isn't it tempting sometimes ?

In the possible event it isn't to you, you're a better person than I am (hard to be worse tbh :) )

Send a ticket to support with replay, these players need to be banned.

Inb4 WG does nothing at all.

Impressive - 

Most of the ST'ers report that at least once or twice when a new ship arrives. Weird... but it is what it is :)

Lots of DD’s in the games lately.

Verbal abuse, yes, that’s common. Probably CV’s and DD’s suffer verbal abuse the most.

I mean teammates demanding I cap or spot when I had to retreat to stay alive, because of good enemy CV, radar ship/s, outnumbered/outtiered/outgunned by enemy DD/s.

I usually say something in chat “remove that plane/ship/radar and I go” which these smartarses never seem to do. Other ships are there to support them, but not vice versa.

Friendly fire in this situation is rare, but I can remember that happening once or twice.

I would quite like to die from friendly fire in this scenario, so at least that moron can wear pink for a while. To play in a team like that, I guess the shorter the better, anyway. A petty when you have stacked flags and camos and those go to waste.

You can always use replays or screen shots and submit to WG, but I doubt they do anything about it. And fair enough, these things are rare.

Of course the temptation is there. But reducing your teammates health (especially in a dd) is counterproductive.

I will however fire a warning shot across the bow to try and get them to take notice, and have been known to bump into them should we happen to cross paths.

Fresh graduates from the School of Noobs.

Same thing happen to me yesterday. A bloody Neptune unloaded full salvo and took almost 1/2 my fetcher hp but didnt turn pink. The best part is the noob asking for smoke when the nearest enemy bb is 17km away. At first I thought the noob was with radar consumable but later he smoked himself.

I was so pissed and called on team mates to report the noob and obviously he unloaded another salvo but this time manage to take another 1.4k off my hp. In retaliation to this noob I unloaded 2 salvos of dracula fishes for his main course dinner and obviously I didnt turn pink...took 3/4 hp off the noob  . Then at close range he unloaded a full salvo and this time instant karma to the noob turned pink ...

The team was leading by 1 cap and points before this incident happen & thanks to this pink noob the whole game was lost as I could not contest a cap with an enemy fletcher at 18k hp while I was down to about 7k hp because of this noob.

Thanks Hey_Potato. Now I know it's not just me. This has been happening a lot over the last few days in Tier IV. I've noticed that occurs more frequently if you use cammo and flags

Makes it a hell of a waste really, maybe that is what some undeciplined players are after?

If you watch stats I think you will soon see a pattern. Those people that inflict allied damage, and rant the most, are probably just doing it because they are frustrated with losing more than 55% of their matches. But of course it's the teams fault, and nothing to do with their contribution.

The penalty system seriously need some rework. Recently to a Mogami was dying and ran straight in front of my Yamato turrets that he got sunk. 

I apologized to him and he accepted that he was at fault. Still i turned pink for 7 matches, Jesus...
