Why do i always lose in divisions

Played 9 battles in morning, ranging from t5-t10. Except one lost match in t5, rest are all wins with two krakens

 

Well tried division this evening, straight lose all matches. 

 

other people get more win in divs, and I lose more. I guess its the same with nikolai, supposed to be op yet i enjoy clemson much more.

That means there is something very wrong with your div. Perhaps you need 1-2 excellent/unicum to carry the div you are in. Div does not guarantee you a win if there are total potatoes in your div

It probably means your division mates aren't carrying their weight.

Either that or the MM keeps on matching you with tryhard divs, while yours are playing random ships.

Despite what most people think, being in a division doesn't automatically give you wins. There are certain things good division players do which most solo players do not (or cannot).

(a) Constant communication, updates about situations and surrounding. For example announcing who's torps you spotted and how many launchers he used etc.

(b) Having a plan, you will see many people just join division and play like solo player, that is pointless. Division players move with a plan, they are like a micro team inside a team. They usually wins a whole flank for their team reducing the pressure from the rest.

(c) Compensating ship classes, division players will usually make a combination of ship classes that hides each other's weaknesses or have great synergy with others. For example, a division of Saipan, Sims and Atlanta. Look closely, Sims has USN smoke and DFAA, can hide atlanta. Sims has worse concealment than most DDs, that's where saipan does the scouting, Atlanta creates a no fly zone while staying safe in the smoke etc. You can instantly spot a shitter div when you see three of the same ship.

If you cannot ensure these, you cannot ensure wins. Just play solo. You are not a division material.

you are in a division, there are unicums in fishing divisons, MM will put you together with other unicum divisions

 

if you cant carry your weight or your divmates cant against them the it's normal to lose

Well, divisions don’t win because you click the division button at the start of the game.

 

A division may win if you have a number of good players communicate and cooperate.

 

Now, did your division made from good players that communicated and cooperated?

 

Or was your division just a bunch of yellow ships, bad or average players all doing their own thing as individuals?
