Then got the T5 Bretagne mission straight after through one of the three crates obtained in game with the French addition mission. Still no Lyon though! Normandie first impressions are not good. Guns are wonky as all hell. Salvo after salvo after salvo goes......somewhere. Not sure where, but definitely not in the same region I was aiming. AA wouldn't stop a determined house fly. HP pool of 48300 on the B hull is only 9000 more than a T6 Graf Spee cruiser!! Very susceptible to HE damage. This thing bleeds HP from any angle. Oh speaking of angles the rear turret angle facing forward is probably the worst I have used across all ships. Oh it has good speed for T6 and an acceptable rudder shift when upgraded. I pulled off some epic torpedo beats, but it is a BB so your luck wont hold for ever. 16% torpedo belt is worse than some cruisers. T6 Graf Spee has 24%. Overall very meh. 5 crates is all I am buying. Not going to throw money at WG after how horribly nerfed the Christmas crates were compared to the year before. I supposedly legitimately "rolled" 11 Okhotniks in a row as duplicates. Only reason was that Okhotnik was discounted in the tech tree at that moment so I only got a paltry 1350 dubs each time. The hour after the tech tree sale ended I opened some more and "rolled" a duplicate Arizona, then a de Grasse, then a Scharnhorst. Sorry but I'm not dumb enough to believe in coincidences. I was very suspicious of the system WG introduced this time around, that would change what you "rolled" to try to always give you a ship you did not have, in order to avoid duplicates. Seeing as I had received all premiums available through the crates I find it a bit too convenient that I constantly "roll" the cheapest value ship that just happens to be on sale at 50% discount. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Just got lucky with the last 6 crates you get from completing the last stage and completing the entire mission. I'm happy now. Richelieu can wait. T5 Bretagne in port. T6 Normandie in port. And............. Spoiler T7 Lyon in port! Only played 2 co-op so far. Good speed and ok manoeuvrability for a BB. Good AA stock. Great AA when upgraded via upgrade modules and commander skills. Secondaries seem ok too. Haven't got a French commander with enough Gun dispersion is pretty bad. She would be OP as hell with 16 barrels if guns were super accurate. Shells tend to bounce and shatter a lot when firing at angled or bow on targets, cruisers included. Small calibre shell size I guess. Long reload on this small calibre means you can get caught out a lot and have AP ready to go when it's pretty useless because of the targets angle. It's all worth it though when you get something broadside and you watch those 16 AP shells arc in towards the citadel. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The AP shells only have a 16.6 km range. If you start battle with AP loaded it will display 18.1 km range until you fire and AP is re-loaded.
