How to see if you shells are bounced or penatrated?

If you want to see the status live, there is an option near the bottom of the third tab of settings.

if you want a summary when your battle ends, move your cursor to the shell hits ribbon in the post battle statistic screen

the z key... you can follow the shellsl in flight or torps running

Under controls, check the option "detailed ribbons"
Now, every time your shells impact a ship, the corresponding ribbon will pop up telling you if you penetrated/over-penetrated/bounced

If you looking at your own ship you can see shells pass thru or fleck and sparks from a ricochet.

 

Z Key to see the flight path of your own shells, but as soon as the shells complete their travel, it will just snap back to your own ship.
