I had to fire a few of them already even though my captain slots are around 170.

It took a couple of years but the Arp ships were worth getting.  Hiding their godawful paint schemes and "REEEEEEEE!" voices made them playable if you needed a ship and now using the commanders on other ships is a great move.    Now they just have to do something with that fat annoying cat

OMG this is huge. I didn't want to jump the gun on this because it seemed too good to be true. Firstly the ARP captains came with reasonable skill points to start with. Secondly because all the ARP ships have premium status can now use them as trainers. Prepare to meet my Takao quite often in the future
