According Spotter said that on PT forum Rank Battle season 7 will use tier 6

 If those players who will achieve the League of Sea Wolves will be able to battle against decent rivals playing with tier 8 ships.

the only threat for La Glass is Fuso and buffed Nurnberg....

In terms of tier 6 DD's, we have:

Anshan 

Gnevny

Ernst Gaede

Farragut

Shinonome

Hatsuharu

Fubuki

 

Do you guys have any advice/prefernces out of these:? Which would you be most likely to use in ranked:?

I've never done ranked before, but am keen to give it a try :3 I'm also considering getting the perth for it, unsure if it's worth it though.

Screw running Ryujo, leave her for PvE, AS is boring anyways.

Aiming for rank 5 this season but will be happy with anything under 10

A better tier to use than tier 7 imo.

Having said that, it's an average tier for destroyers and cruisers while being an amazing tier for battleships.  Given how OP BB's are atm, combined with how good they are at tier 6, I would expect a BB heavy meta.  This will mean cruisers will suffer.

I would suggest good ships will be:

DD's - Anshan, Shinonome, Gallant.

CA/CL's - Leander, De Grasse, Cleveland.

BB's - Arizona, Warspite.

Maybe, Leander has the heal and great AP, while Perth has the HE and longer moving smoke, but much longer cooldown between smokes and normal AP.

Buddy is a good ship, but in ranked will have the same problem as the Shchors - a huge ship and not maneuvreable enough to consistently avoid citadels and handle the shorter ranged stuff late game, and has only one trick, long range HE spam.  De Grasse will be better at this long range HE spam job while avoiding incoming damage much better and being more effective when it's time to move up.

There is no significantly OP premium ships at t6 so I'd expect the average battle to reach r1 is higher than previous seasons :D 

Will experiment with the Graf Spee this season. The only one thing I dislike about low tier cruisers is their lack of repair party which forces you to play super passive when at mid-low health. Graf Spee fixes this problem in exchange for lower DPM. However, 283mm guns can overmatch the bow/stern armor of t6 cruisers so it shouldn't affect the practical damage output that much.

Good example of the perth...but you're gonna need a 10 pt captain at least.

I do suspect that T6 was used due to the lack of love it gets.   Not too many DD's or CL to like....and since most players play BB anyway it will attract more interest by general non-clan players

Brace yourself people cuz WG is about to sell those T6 premium ships as soon as the ranked season start just like the last season when they sold those cheating T7 premium ships.

Maybe they'll sell the HSF Graf Spee when season start too.
