Just came home from the newagents ( Australia ),and they have a new weekly magazine with model series going on with warships.Starts with Yamato,Hood is second week and Bismarck the third.

As usual they start at AU $6 the first week, and regular price is AU$20.Thought I would let folks know that are interested.I will probably just get a couple of the German ships myself.

Couldn't find the main website, but this site is selling then individually so you an see what is available:

Update:

Finally found out the website for these, although not a lot there!:

Too bad Malaysia did not have official distributor for this magazine. I bought some from Japan, which is more expensive (and of course the book is in Japanese) :(

Amiami: http://slist.amiami.com/top/search/list?s_seriestitle_id=1722&pagemax=40

Hobby Link Japan: https://hlj.com/search/go?w=harlequin

Yahoo auction (do check the item condition though, some did not come with the book or already damaged) link: http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/search?fr=auc_top&p=%E4%B8%96%E7%95%8C%E3%81%AE%E8%BB%8D%E8%89%A6%E3%82%B3%E3%83%AC%E3%82%AF%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A7%E3%83%B3&oq=&auccat=0&tab_ex=commerce&fixed=0&sc_i=&ei=UTF-8&b=1

Bought Yamato, Bismarck, Akagi and Kaga from Yahoo auction (because they were no longer available at Amiami or HLJ), and will buy more whenever the monthly budget allow :P

Looks alright, but I think I'd rather save my pennies to buy premo ships in game :3

Yeah, with the total cost of those weeklies you would end up with a few premium ships!

You mean pixel ships, of a game that is unlikely to remain popular after a few years, unless you don't mind playing in a ghost town or ships isn't your reason for playing this game in the first place. When this game does eventually come to an end, it's your plastic/diecast models that will still be on your shelf. But I understand, we all have our own tastes.

I prefer not to collect models from Eaglemoss because they're pretty crude in detail. 1/1250 ships are my favourites. Obviously they're more expensive, but the quality for me is worth it. https://www.1250ships.com/

I more into planes than ships, and only started playing this game due to the then future release of German BB and crusiers. As far as buying premium ships,I haven't bought many, got all the German BB and cruisers so far,and the Texas. Will most likely buy the Arizona as some point, but I doubt there will be many more I am interested in here.

Oh,and I play Co-Op only these days,so I don't care if its a ghost town,as long as I got something to shoot at I am fine!
