Try brawling with them and then get back to me on who is better. Even with range, the vodka sailors do it better.

they got range, so you can punch +2 higher tier quite well

the gun feel the same with Japan one, you lead shoot as comfortable as in atago for their 203mm

high fire chance, reasonable AP, quite OK alpha

 

The armor however, is rated "[P] for Pensacola grade

Japan ship is good at taking hits, Myoko, Atago, Zao is quite tanky

Frenchy cant take hits well. you will melted. on other hands of viewing things, just like Pensacola or New Orleans, you need to rely on evading shells rather than angling and tanking shoots

 

to sumarize, Pensacola Armor (accustomed to actively evading shell), Japan Gun (accustomed to landing shell with Japan 203mm), Russian Range (comfortable being 2nd line ships, defensive play most of the time, non Yolo behavior)

if you play those 3 cruiser line (US and IJN at least) before, you should do well with it

er, can you ask all you qustions in one thread? like we've told another certain forum member before, we are happy to answer questions, but just dont spam posts or ask nonsense qustions one after another

 

anyways IJN CAs have very good torps and excellent HE alpha damage, but fragile hulls till you get to T10

french CAs are made of paper, but back some pretty good guns, they can go really fast so it's a gun and run playstyle

i tried French CA, the feel is like playing DD without smoke. GG torpedo!!

also their HE is PRETTY GOOD, its weird to see the low tier of French CA have LOWER Burn chance than KM CA

 

also i did see HENRY 4 in shokaku, its AA is meh lol

Other than run and gun, i also used them like Sharkabek. 35 knot Bertin is like driving Isokaze.

With more than twice HP, also immune from HE citadel, laying off torps from far away, and laying another one when she get very close.

AP ofc would delete her right away, but you know the probability + WASD hax.

Also including using the ship herself as extra torpedo.

They made squishy because they're dangerous for diving attack.

Torps are not getting any better since Bertin tho.
