What the hell is wrong with this player base. I've never been this pissed at the player base before. Most players at tier 8-10 should't even have gotten out of tier 4 battles. There are many instances where 6 players from less than 6 kilometers failed to kill an Akizuki that has been RADARed for four time whilst sitting in smoke, at 6 [redacted]ing kilometers. There are also instances where 8 players ran away from 4 players whilst being supported by DD. I'M DONE ! I can't keep on playing a game where the "better" player base are just pathetic and comparable to newer players at best and after months of this crap going on. I'm going to temporarily put down the game. I think that I've been quite burnt out over the game due to my frustration with the high tier players. I suppose that I'll see you all again in about a month or two

Peace

Play some lower tiers man. The stress of higher tier play can take its toll.

I recommend the Tachibana =D

Precisely, I came onto forum to make a post about whether I should become more self centered in my DDs. I really don't see the point of trying the keep the opponents' DDs lit. Keeping them lit means restricting my movements, and if my team isn't going to focus fire those DDs, I might as well just go and stealth torp and hopefully hit something.

If I'm doing it wrong, do correct me. I love advise, but right now, this is what I think I should be trying

I see more lemming trains in high tiers as well. Everybody wants to keep their precious ship safe for as long as possible.

Completely agree with you on this point, the amount of times that I have and keep DD's spotted only to have them ignored astounds me.

Also I've lost count of how many times when someone actually does shoot at them they are not even close to the mark. How can players reach this level without knowing how to lead a DD correctly.

I've also lost count of the amount of DD's I have sunk in a BB, some from miles away.

that picture is perfect.

I was asked to cap today, in a Scharnhorst, with half of the enemy fleet just outside the cap.

Two DDs hid behind me the whole time.

Naturally, I got burned to death in 2 mins. Fourteen reports! lol

Selfish is understandable. Selfish without understanding the meta of the game is unforgivable.

I second this advice!  Maybe lower tier matches would be less stressful and more ... fun!  There are all kinds of interesting ships throughout the lower tiers.   Bonus: more close-in fighting if you enjoy that.   Good luck!

High tier is max range snipe meta. Only ships who try to get close are USN and they die quickly....

Basically at high tier, the team with more US DD and better snipers win.

1. Spot the enemy DD 24x7, bombing it with DB, throw torpedo in the smoke.... press F3 a lot..... sometimes, i dont know what is our team doing....

2. enemy Shokaku run AS loadout (me too), i got clear sky EVERYBODY BLAME ME FOR BEING NOOB CV! both CV are both noob, nobody able to deal damage... but still why blame me? i did spot too LOL

3. got first blood by killing DD, losing half of the fleet 4 min later......

4. tell to some BB to split the fleet into two flank.... everybody SAILING together in one place

5. tell DD or CA to not go to the suicide cap..... everybody go to there...

AND!

6. doing noob, GET GOOD TEAM! MM so weird....

so keep becoming noob and get ultra unicum team!

Everyone wants big glory kills, they dont want to sink the puny dd or worthless cruiser, they jusy want to sink big battleships for themselves.  They always want someone else to protect  them. Then, because  yhey all want glory kill, the little enemy dd or cruiser comes in & torps them. Then they complain.....

If people  actually knew the roles of their ships, & didnt keep passing the job of sinking small ships to others all the time, then you may find that the team may win mors often.

The key to better scoring/credits/experience is the amount of damage per match you do, not only kills, so focus on the escort ships (dds & cruisers ) then tour team will win & you get more exp credits etc...

Simple really.

I noticed... May players really just want to protect their own "Trophy" ships in high tier battles.

Once many get to tier 10.. They play it to brandish it.

Honestly, if i werent in a division... I struggle in tier 10 because no one wants to push. I end up being alone, scouting.. Torping... And getting pinged by Long range radar.

Lol.

I even know of a few who skipped lower tiers and Paid to get Free Xp.. To unlock tier 10 ships.

The result... Players barely know how to play who think playing in High Tiers is a status symbol.

then they lose credits and GTFO high tiers due to repair costs, easy

Well... I dunno about them... But i always knew that High tier costs are steep..

But being competitive will give more credits. And thats what high tier play was meant for in the 1st place.
