Interesting article

For what it's worth (don't speak Russian so taken in good faith)

Quick summary in regards ship lines/premiums

  • Russian DDs (including Smeliy, Neustrashimiy and Project 56) will get some new weapon type
  • New cruiser and battleship trees for France
  • New Pan-Asian tree with RU, US and Japanese ships

Premiums

  • Graf Zeppelin
  • Roma VIII Italian BB
  • But VIII BB Alabama first

Other info in there

Wow, they actually managed to make a Pan-Asian tech tree?

And wow, Italian ships will come (maybe not this year, but the planned addition of Roma is a sign).

Wow Graf Zep, one of the most advanced CV ever made at her time.

Probably faster readying time for aircraft, more accurate dive bomber, but only carries a few.

> Wasn't even finished

> Most advanced CV

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

yeah it's advanced, it's already half deconstructed before the DD's get there  and you don't need to worry about pesky fighters keeping you lit!:P

For the Germans at that time, probably. I mean, that was their only attempt to build a CV. :tea_cap:

I'm confused about Pan-Asia tree.....

What countries are included in Pan-Asia??

And do they include some after-WW2 ships?

Well, some of the prems like the Lo Yang, though built during WW2, were given to the ROC Navy after the war.

By the way I see it, any Asian country that had ships suitable in the game will be there. :tea_cap:

> Designs CV with SUPERIOR GERMAN ENGINEERING
> When launched it has a permanent 4.5 degree starboard list - so bad that it would actually inhibit planes from being launched
> Redesign it to have a huge bulge on the port side filled with 500 tons of concrete just to keep the ship level
> "Most advanced CV"

They also attempted to build The Third Re*ch but that doesn't go well either.

De-planed before even spawning? 0/0/0 loadout confirmed :D

More re-skin USN Destroyer !!!

A tech tree for the sake of another tech tree!

There you go. Not the best CV of all time (late-war USN CVs woo!), but for Germans at the time it was advanced (even though unfinished in the end) because it was the only CV they had attempted to build. I didn't agree that it was the most advanced, but I thought that the Germans at that time did saw it that way, despite all that things you've mentioned.  :tea_cap:

Welp, Philippine Navy ain't got anywhere decent to put in the Pan-Asia tree (unless research yields something; a plan to give us ex-USN DDs maybe?)

The only ones closest (but not quite suitable) are the Datu Kalantiaw class (ex-Cannon class) destroyer escorts with 3 x 76mm guns and a single triple-tube torp launcher.

Even putting it at tier 2 is quite a stretch, I think.  :tea_cap:

Not entirely accurate statement I'm afraid....

You are forgetting the partially converted Hipper class heavy cruiser Seydlitz, which was 95% complete, when they decided in 1942 to convert her to a carrier.

It is a pity seydlitz & the Lutzow never were operational, the Lutzow was sold incomplete to Russia & lived a half life as the Tallinn until the 1950s.
