Anyone have any info about the torpedo handling on board cruisers and destroyers of WW1 and WW2? I heard that on board destroyers, there was no reload for the torpedo. but then I found a manual of reloading procedure for a US torpedo launchers.

Most USN ships did not carry torp reloads, so tubes were only loaded in port, IJN ships have 1 reload, which are the box structures you see in game.

Torpedo affect, weight distribution and stability on Destroyer.

because they heavy

Also because they are heavy, its impractical for Destroyer to store and Refill them on Sea

Cruiser dont have this problem, since they have spaces for it

Large ship like Tirpitz and Hipper have spare torpedoes. reffiling them is gruelling process that can took half day

involving lots of manual labour, trolley, winch and crane.

IJN have "Fast Reloader"

it can reload torps in 3 Min (though its more close to half hour in real setting)

it involving Storage Boxes, located behind the Launching tubes. and array of Conveyor belt like tools, that can be unpacked, and extended in front of the reloading tube
