I dont understand why they have been nerfed so heavily?!

 

The torps are good, but the guns on the whole are not.

 

By massively reducing their concealment you have made them into old skool JPN torp boats.

 

I don't really see how they now fit in the current meta, or how they should be used?

 

Furthermore, why the sudden nerf between the ships being given to the community contributors and going live? We mere plebs rely on youtube commentators to tell us whether or not the ships on a whole are worth going for, before wasting hard earned free exp and silver credits on ships.

 

It seems rather cynical to give good ships out to youtubers, so they say nice/good things about your ships before stealth nerfing them before release.

If wanna remove stealth firing in German DD, might as well make the detection range boom near to its max gunrange instead of 3 - 4 km more than max gun range. Someone might ask does it make any difference,  then the answer is yes, and that person clearly never play / inexperience in DD.

 

If want to remove stealth fire, why are not other ships affected? 

 

To me German DD is in an embarrassing position... 

 

Edit: yeah I don't have much DD experience frankly, but I think I'm quite understand DD play style (thanks to those who taught me hand by hand in game, esp MeloMelonSoda :P ) and understand CA and BB roles in hunting down DD (yes, I personally very aggressive when it comes to hunting DD in CA and BB)

there is a problem with Torp reload.

V 25; G 101; V170, they have front torps with 1 tube, but reload takes same time like 2 tubes. It should take half of time compare to 2 tubes(1 tube reload faster than 2 tubes!!!)

Yeah finding them hard to play the detection bloom when firing guns is a big hindrance. If they don't want to change that what about seriously reducing the time its active. So like when you fire you're spotted for 1 or 2 seconds. The torps are so slow pretty much everybody can avoid them unless you are suicidal and get really close which may work against lone enemy but not if they have support.

Tier V T22 2 aft Guns lift up like SPG but cant shoot forward, may I ask WG could make it shoot ?

I feel they need one of the following to be 'fair'.

 

1. 'regular' firing detection penalty

2. 'regular' smoke screen

3. slight buff of gun range

T6 and T8 if choose 150mm should extend the range ?

Gun range is fixed to the hull and FCS.

The same problem arose when Mogami and Cleveland was heavily nerfed when BFT/AFT was changed.

I have to say, this is the worst new ship tree I have ever seen. No advantage, nothing special, and weak. 

I have a T7 German DD now, and she is really hard to play. I suggest give the first ST data back to German DD. They are all good.

Pure garbage and they have nothing good at doing and I couldn't even play more than 1 game on a german DD. All hype gone with that nerf, I guess I'll be saving free exp for russian BBs. I hate invisifiring Zaos but these DDs need it more than any other ship, so let's remove it from them and retain Zao's invisifire. Welp, thank god WT updated. time to grind JP tanks.

Disappointed they are not powercreep line

 

They are at best, mediocre at everything USN does but with hydro. Safer gameplay but not risk reward kind of thing anymore
