WoWs is already taking so much Hard drive space, how big will it become in the end?

after you've finished an update you can clean out the /updates folder to get some space back.

And your screenshots folder. And your replays folder.

The increase in client size will probably never end.

So I cleaned my 2TB portable HDD (transferred all its files to my CIFS server) and use it solely for WoWS.

I fit Fractured Space, World of Tanks, World of warships, war thunder all in one 89GB SSD partition... I still have 25GB of space left..

If you suffer from small sized SSDs like me, learn to manage your space. Delete new update files and remove useless replays. It will only be your bad file management which will cause you to not have enough space.

You are either lying/exaggerating or unable to properly use space on your computer.

A suggestion if you have extremely small amounts of space in your computer. Use an External HDD or you use a 64 gb pen drive or something like that.

Delete your updates after they're done, guys. Or do a fresh install.

Hmm, does WOWS clean up after it self, after an update, everything?

Compared to AAA game releases such as Titanfall 2, GTA5 and BF1 are all >50GB, WoWS and other WG titles are actually small in comparison.

My computer has an internal 128GB SSD, so I keep my games on external HDD. As I am not playing any other game, the 2TB HDD is just for WoWS now. But WoWS is definitely quite space consuming for a DirectX9 game.

The game is only 25 gb. It's not that big compared to GTAV which is around 60+ GB and Rise of the Tomb Raider which is around 50+ GB.

there's a reason why you only use SSD for your OS and use standard HDD to store your game

Umm, try again sweetie <3

I happened to look in my ASIA update folder as it was downloading the latest one.A few of the files were date marked from the previous update, and some from this.

When I went back after the install completed the same number of files were there, but all dated yesterday. It looks like they use similar file names and delete the previous ones, but leave the newest ones there.

Dat 19.3mb/s download speed tho...the best i can get at my place is 3mb/s...

I wouldn't mind 3mb/s,I'm stuck on 1mb/s!

Although it only really affects me for big downloads, otherwise its fine.
