Ultimate tier 7 stat padding. Two Flints and a CV. The Flints were popping smoke in sequence, ie never out of smoke,  the CV had fighters overhead to spot for them. Not having a go at them for having Flints, but that the game mechanics are borked if it allows this sort of padding. A quick check show the players involved have 60% win rates, except in the Flints which are sitting at 80%. That tells me they are being rewarded above and beyond their normal abilities by a flaw in the game design.

flint has limited range. get out of their range and they won't able to harm you. don't force to push without radar cruiser.

or dump all 10km torpedo in your team to flush them out of the smoke.

Try doing that when there's a CV spotting for them

it doesn't matter, they will be force to get out of the smoke, specially when there are lots of torpedo coming their way. imagine 20+ plus torpedo coming in your direction in thigh spread.

also its not hard for them to hit small target beyond 8km. so its easier to dd and cruiser to just dump their 10km torpedo on flint smoke.

Tier 7 currently have mostly -2 MM. And as far as I concern you don't have that many 10 km torp from DD at that MM. Mutsuki and Hatsuharu 2x3 are there but the Mutsuki need the torp upgrade and both of their torp are 59 knots. Sure you got Myoko and Aoba 10km torps but to get into dropping zone they will undoubtedly get spot and focus by the CV and with them having pitiful AA, they will get rekt most likely. Even if you force them out what next? There would be no one to spot them for your team to fire back because plane get killed like fly, DD will be spot by CV and will take fire from 2 Flint, gl with that when they will undoubtedly have team work due to being a division while random MM player can not be expected to capitalised on such moment. At +2 MM however, you get fubuki 3x3 and benson 2x5, that will be different business.

This is a dedicated seal clubbing division tbh because how tier 7 is getting dream MM right now

To be fair with a bit of experience and luck a single BB can easily flush them out by itself.

It might sink as a result, but so will the two Flints unless the BB's team is "currently unavailable" while their team is

slamming out all the support.

In which case... well, you're facing a team that's utilising the ultimate ability of "Teamwork"... much scarier than any Flint could ever be.

It does seems that MM only considers the lead ship in the division and not the combine abilities of ships classes.

People smartly using their ships to overwhelm the enemy is not a broken mechanic.    Smart players will use any ships advantage to win and the ability of a div to control gameplay is one of the strongest abilities a team can have.  its a matter of getting your team to cooperate to neutralise the threat they pose (BTW, good luck with getting that to happen...............)

WG could introduce an ELO system into MM.

That way, generally speaking, people of similar skill levels will verse each other. Saves too much seal clubbing and people from "gaming" the system.

Define "clubbing".   I don't think T7 is clubbing.   Going into T1/2 with a 15 skill captain is.

Either way, an ELO will ensure that high skilled players (or players that "game" the system) will play against other players of similar skill.

Assuming it can be done, and other online games do so successfully, this can only be a good thing.

No, skill based MM would be biased towards the player instead of the ship they're driving. What happened if a skilled player on a DD goes up against an equally skilled player driving a radar light cruiser? Are you expecting them to have an even fight?

Skill based mm is a fail.

Shitter V Shitter eventually balance out at 50%.  Uni V Uni eventually balance out at 50%.  Then we are back to square one.
